This walk spends time in the sestieri of San Marco, Castello, and Cannaregio — home of the Jewish Ghetto, the first in Europe, established in 1516. The Libreria Acqua Alta, visited at 2:47:26, is one of the most unusual bookstores in the world: books are stored in gondolas and bathtubs to protect them from the acqua alta floods.
