Summer in my memory is always accompanied by a gentle breeze. If you just pause for a moment, you will notice those tall, slender flowers standing quietly by the road, at the corner of a wall, or near the sea cliffs. They are silent, yet they are everywhere. These are the hollyhocks.
On the edge of a cliff, inside a broken white porcelain teacup, a single pink flower has quietly bloomed, swaying gently in the sea breeze. And on the wooden steps bathed in the evening sun, a child has fallen fast asleep. The flower branches beside him rise and fall with his breathing, shielding him from the glaring western sun.
May these quiet moments brush away a little restlessness from your heart, and accompany you through a peaceful time.
