Video Summary
AI GeneratedA coin collector searches through multiple boxes of quarter rolls to find the ultra-rare 2026 Declaration of Independence quarter featuring the July 4th Privy Mark. While the primary target remains elusive, the hunt yields various collectible coins, including Bicentennial quarters, specific state quarter varieties, and foreign currency, highlighting the challenges of finding low-population mintages in circulation.
I just picked up six $500 boxes of quarters
from four separate banks, all in search of a single coin.
That coin, of course, being the ultra rare
2026 Declaration of Independence
with the 4th of July Privy Mark.
The Mint only made a quarter million of these bad boys
and they claim that they've been randomly dispersed
throughout quarter boxes and sent out for circulation.
On initial inspection, unfortunately,
these four boxes look like they have zero chance
at having any of these 2026 coins.
These two boxes, on the other hand, are a different story.
Let's take a look.
Here's our first box.
We'll go ahead and open it up
and take a look at what we got inside
and check this out, guys.
We have 10 Declaration of Independence coins
showing right on the ends of the rolls.
And here is what that looks like.
So we got six with the obverse showing here.
Unfortunately, these ones do not have the Privy Mark.
You can see they all have the Philadelphia,
but that means that they're in here, which is the key piece.
Then these four rolls from this box
show the reverse of that 2026 design.
So we may actually have a July 4th Privy Mark right here.
We won't know until we flip it over
to the other side and check.
And then we got the same thing going for box number two,
guys, five reverses showing right there.
And then six rolls here showing the obverse
with the Philadelphia mint mark.
So no Privy Marks on those,
but again, great to just see these in the rolls.
And then an extra little bit of luck on these ones.
We flip it over here and we actually see
a Bicentennial there.
So 200 year anniversary, 250 year anniversary.
Kind of cool.
So we're gonna be opening one box today
and then we'll save the second box for another video.
With all that being said,
let's go ahead and jump into these rolls, guys.
I am stoked to see if we can find a Privy Mark today.
All right, here we go.
Breaking into our first roll
with that 2026 Declaration of Independence
showing on the end.
And this one's actually kind of exciting
because we can flip this one over.
We do not know if this one's gonna have
the Privy Mark or not yet.
So we can flip it over and see here in just a second.
I'm also curious to see how many of these coins
do you think are going to have that 2026 design
that we're looking for?
I am seeing some shiny ones here.
Let's just take a look at this, right?
So you can see that's a very shiny edge on the ender there.
And then there's other ones here
that also look equally shiny.
So we may have more 2026 coins in here to check.
But let's just grab this ender first and foremost,
and we'll give it a flip to see
if we're gonna get super lucky here on our very first pull.
Here we go, guys.
Three, two, one.
All right, nope.
We do have the Philadelphia Mint Mark there.
No July 4th.
We're looking for that July 4th there
to the left of Washington.
So we will put that one down.
And then let's just take a look
at the rest of these coins, guys.
Like I said, lots of shiny ones in here.
So let's see if we're gonna get some more.
Yeah, we are, guys.
Right off the bat,
we are getting more of those 2026 designs.
There's another one with the Philadelphia Mint Mark,
of course.
And obviously, we're looking for that Privy Mark.
So I think we have a very small chance.
Even though we do have them in here,
I feel like the chance is going to be pretty small
that we actually grab one.
But you'll never know unless you try.
So here we go.
Let's check this one for it.
Nope, nothing there.
I'm probably gonna put all these to the side, though,
just to see how many we end up with in this box.
There's another one right there, guys.
That's also gonna be the Philadelphia.
So we're just gonna continue through this roll, guys,
and see what we can get here.
I guess we'll just quickly grab
all of the 2026s that we can.
We got two more right there.
We'll put those to the side.
There is a 2019.
We'll actually wanna check those for the West Point.
It's kind of a similar thing they did in 2019 and 2020.
Those are also worth a little bit of money.
But we'll just put those to the side for now, guys,
and see what else we can get here.
So look, there's four in that roll that we can check.
So four coins right there.
We'll flip all of those over.
We're looking for the July 4th Privy Mark, of course.
So we got a couple of P's.
I am shaking because I'm so excited, guys.
It's my first time ever seeing these coins in circulation.
I didn't think they would be in circulated rolls this early.
I thought you would only be able to find them
in the uncirculated rolls, which I was looking for,
just wasn't able to find.
But those are all gonna be Philadelphia, guys.
We got quite the stack of them here, though.
Look at all of those 2026 Declaration of Independence.
All right, well, we'll go ahead and check this 2019
to see if we'll get lucky on a West Point Mint Mark.
And nope, just another Philadelphia on that one.
I think that's gonna do it for this roll, guys.
I'll double-check everything,
and then we'll jump into the next.
All right, so we were able to pull eight chances
out of that roll.
That first roll had eight
of the 2026 Declaration of Independence.
So hopefully we can continue that trend
as we open these rolls, guys.
I would love for every single roll
to give us at least eight chances
at grabbing one of those Privy Marks.
We know at least that there will be one in this roll.
So let's go ahead and unroll it here.
I guess we should check for silver as well,
although that's not really the concern in today's video.
We're really looking out for newer coins,
which I'm seeing a lot of shine on this one.
So that definitely makes me feel good about our chances here.
Let's grab that one off the end there.
Oh, look, there's another one underneath it.
How crazy is that?
All right, we'll give this one a quick flip here
for the July 4th Privy Mark.
Not gonna happen on that one.
How about this one right here?
Our second coin in.
Give it a quick flip.
And oh my gosh, I thought I saw something there,
but no, nothing on that one either.
So I'm gonna dump these out.
Once again, I will take a look to see
what we can gather from this one.
There's another one right there.
That one's just the P, you can see it does not have it.
But guys, I will grab all the ones
that I can find out of this roll,
and then we'll take a look and see if we got lucky.
All right, guys, looks like we ended up
with 12 shots at it from this roll.
We already saw all of these came up this side,
so we saw the Philadelphia on that.
But these ones, we have not checked yet.
So let's just check them real quick.
Maybe we'll get lucky here on roll number two.
I kinda doubt it.
It's just, it's gonna be so difficult to find these guys.
250,000 is such a small number.
And I have a feeling, I mean, it's possible
these coins have already been looked through
by a collector and then dumped back into circulation
when they didn't find the privy mark.
So it's such a small chance.
Even picking up $3,000 in quarters,
you still have such a small chance,
but the chance is there.
So we're gonna keep looking through these rolls.
We also have the possibility of finding
the occasional silver quarter
or a West Point quarter from 2019 or 2020.
So even if we don't find what we're looking for today,
there are other things to be on the lookout for as well.
So guys, that is it for roll number two.
We'll go ahead and jump into roll number three.
All right, there's our 2026 on the end of the roll.
Go ahead and unravel it here.
See what we're looking at on the inside.
Ooh, that one's pretty chewed up right there.
No silver, but definitely seeing a few shiners.
Maybe not as much as the first and second.
Let's see what we got there on the end though.
Can you imagine if we got an ender
for that July 4th privy mark?
All right, that one's just gonna be Philadelphia,
but we'll continue to look.
All right, it looks like we grabbed
just six out of this roll.
Three of them came face up with the Philadelphia mint marks.
Let's check these ones though
for the July 4th privy mark.
Got a couple of Philadelphias,
and there's Philadelphia number three.
Ooh, that one's already got a nasty ding in it,
so that's too bad, but all right.
Well, we'll put those to the side, guys,
and get on to the next.
All right, here is roll number four
with the Declaration of Independence reverse
showing on our ender.
Seen some shiners in there for sure,
so we may have something good.
Let's take a look at that ender though.
I would love to capture an ender of this on camera.
Give it a quick flip here.
Nope, just gonna be the Philadelphia as usual,
but we'll continue to look through the roll, guys,
see what else we can get.
All right, we got four to check out of that roll.
Let's flip them over and see.
Moment of truth.
Can we get one out of roll number four?
Doesn't look like it, but all right,
so that's five total in that roll,
and they're very inconsistent.
We had one with 12, now one with five,
but hopefully we just continue to find these
as we look through each and every roll in this box.
Maybe we'll get lucky and get that July 4th.
All right, here's our final ender with the reverse showing,
so we get a chance at a little bit of suspense here.
Oop, dropping out the bottom side there,
but let's go ahead and grab that ender off
and flip it real quick,
because this is our last chance to get ourselves an ender.
We'll see if we can get one here, and bam.
Nope, no July 4th there,
but we will continue the search, guys.
Plenty to look for.
All right, so only four came out of this roll.
This was our lightest roll yet,
but let's go ahead and check these two
that came out reverse side up.
They're both Philadelphia, so all right, guys,
that does it for our reverse side up enders.
We do have a whole bunch of obverses showing as well here,
and actually, I think, yeah, we actually,
we have a bicentennial on one of them, too,
which is pretty crazy,
and so I think we'll go with that roll next.
All right, here's our dual ender roll
with the bicentennial showing on one side,
the 2026 Declaration of Independence
showing on the other side.
I almost wanna just keep this roll intact
because it's so cool,
but nah, let's go ahead and open it, guys.
I have to know if we're gonna get
one of those privy marks out of it,
and I feel like maybe the bicentennial ender
brings us a little more luck,
so what do you guys think?
Let me know, but definitely some new,
shinier coins in there for sure,
especially on this right side.
There's like three in a row right in the middle there,
but let's go ahead and grab our bicentennial
first and foremost,
so these came out in 1976, the 200-year anniversary.
They're not super rare by any means,
but I do like to pull them out.
I think they're cool,
especially given the circumstances here
in the 250th anniversary,
but let's grab our other ender.
We already know that that one's not going to be
what we're looking for as we saw the P already.
How about these three coins right in the middle, though?
I think that's kinda interesting.
Looks like they're all going to be potentially,
yeah, Declaration of Independence there.
There's another one,
so let's just take a look at those real quick.
Those are both going to be fillies,
and we'll give this one a flip.
That one's a filly as well,
so no July 4th there, guys,
but that is our fourth on this roll.
I'll take a look at the rest of these
and see what we can find.
Ah, well, what do you know, guys?
We got another bicentennial in that exact same roll,
so we went five without finding a single one,
and then we got two in a single roll,
and that's pretty cool.
All right, guys, this roll actually had five obverse up
and then two with the reverse showing.
Let's flip those real quick for the July 4th,
see if we can get lucky.
Nope, not that time.
We did actually grab a whole bunch
of 2019s and 2020s, though,
so this is almost like the discount version
of the July 4th preview mark.
These go for much less,
although they are still out there,
and I've found several in the past,
so let's see if we can get at least a W mint mark
out of one of these rolls,
so kind of the same thing.
We're gonna get a lot of Philadelphias.
There's a Denver, so a nice little change of pace there,
and are we gonna get a W, though?
No, we're not, at least not on this roll,
so guys, we'll go on to the next one.
I believe this is roll number six here.
There's our 2026 ender,
so I'll just go ahead and open it up here
and we'll see what we can get.
All right, once again, seeing quite a few shiners.
This one definitely stands out right here,
and that is gonna be the 2026,
but once again, the Philadelphia,
so all right, I'll take a look at these coins
and let you guys know.
All right, so out of that roll,
we got five obverse showing all Philadelphias, of course,
and then this single reverse.
We'll go ahead and flip it for that July 4th.
No, and again, got some damage on there for sure,
so that's too bad.
I hope that if we do find a July 4th preview mark,
it doesn't end up having that damage on it,
but we'll put this one to the side, guys,
and get into our next roll.
All right, so that's sort of interesting right there, guys.
I believe what they call these is house quarters,
so they would use these in the jukeboxes back in the day.
1985 is kinda newer to be using on a jukebox,
but I suppose they were still around around that time,
but yeah, basically, they would paint them a certain color
and put the quarter in just to get the jukebox music going
to kinda encourage other people
to start spending money on it as well,
and then that way, they would be able to keep track
of what was their own money
versus money from the patrons of the business,
so kinda cool to see these pop up.
I do see them from time to time, and I always keep them,
so we'll put that one to the side
and take a look at what else we got.
Oh, look at this, guys.
I think this is actually gonna be
another 2026 design right here,
so in God we trust.
There's 1776-2026.
It definitely is going to be one for the 250th anniversary.
Let's flip it this way, and oh, nice, Mayflower Compact.
That's awesome, guys.
So this one, we will be putting into the collection for sure
because I do not have this coin at all, actually.
This is the first time I've seen
any 2026 coins whatsoever,
including that Declaration of Independence,
so I'll put that one to the side for sure, guys,
and let's see what else we can find.
All right, so from that roll,
we snagged three up and three down.
Let's flip these ones here to see if we can get lucky.
There's one, two, and three, so no luck there.
Let's continue forward.
All right, guys, this here is roll number 10 of 50
on the box, and it's one of the ones
that we still have a 2026 Declaration of Independence
showing on the end.
Of course, we already know that's gonna be the Philly.
Got a pretty nasty-looking one right under it, though,
and this is a 2021.
Not very old, but definitely not in great shape.
All right, guys, breaking into our final ender.
This is roll number 11 right here.
It's gonna be on that left side.
Of course, we already know that's not the one
that we're looking for, but like we said,
it's always good to see a chance
at getting some in the roll,
so we know there's gonna be at least a few more in here.
Let's see where they're at.
I'm not really seeing too many.
I guess there's one right over here hiding.
There's the bell, but we do have another one of those 2026.
It looks like Mayflower Compact showing up for us,
so those are cool to see.
All right, so four to check from the last roll.
Let's take a peek here.
Man, it would be so nice to see one of those privy marks.
I feel like it's such a small chance,
but I'm gonna check every single one.
Of course, guys, you have to.
I don't know if I, I don't think I even mentioned this.
They're going for hundreds of dollars on eBay right now.
Of course, the price is rapidly changing.
They started at like 1,000 bucks,
and now it's come down to four or 500,
but still, that is an insane amount of money
for a single quarter, so very valuable, as you can see,
probably because of their significance and their rarity.
Let's see if we got one here, guys.
We got two to check right here.
Give it a quick flip, and nope, not looking like it,
so all right, guys, well, we'll continue forward here
and see what else we can find.
I guess I should mention we do have
a few other interesting enders here, guys.
These are all gonna be 2020s,
so chance at that West Point mint mark,
as you can see right here.
2019s and 2020s have them, so we'll open those next
and see if we can get lucky on those.
All right, here's our first one.
Salt River Bay is going to be the design there.
Let's just grab it off the end
and see if we can get lucky with a West Point ender,
and bam, it is a Philly.
I do have a small stack here of 2019s and 2020s
that I pulled out of the last few rolls,
so I guess we can check those real quick
to see if we ended up getting a West Point on one of those.
There's a Denver, and actually, what in the world?
Oh, I think that's just some scratches there
on the left side, so nothing too crazy,
and it looks like they're all going to be non-West Points.
We'll throw them back here
and take a look at the rest of this roll, guys.
Hopefully, these other rolls
that don't have the 2026s showing
still end up having at least a few 2026s in them,
so let's just do a quick check here.
Yes, so we do have, that's a good sign, guys.
We have 2026s showing up in the non-ender rolls as well,
so good sign.
We definitely still have a shot
at getting one of those privy marks
in the rest of the rolls in this box,
so I'm going to continue searching,
and I'll let you know when I find something good.
All right, pretty cool-looking Bicentennial right there.
I love the patina on that one,
and that one's going to be a Denver Mint Bicentennial.
Oh, kind of cool on the back side, too.
All right, so I think that's our third one on the box,
so I'll put that to the side and continue forward.
All right, how about this one, guys?
We got a Marsh Billings Rockefeller
showing on that left side.
Let's open this up and see if we can get ourselves
a W right on the end there.
Interesting color enders here,
or not enders, just from the edges, rather.
That one looks super old.
I don't think that's going to be silver, though.
What about this one, though?
Oh, yeah, state quarter there,
and this was our 2020 ender,
the Marsh Billings Rockefeller there.
Let's flip it for a W real quick.
Now, it's still, it's going to be a P there.
Not in bad shape, though,
for a six-year-old coin at this point.
All right, we'll go ahead and dump out the rest, guys.
I'm seeing some shiners in here, for sure.
Like, look at this, guys.
We are still pulling out those Declaration of Independence,
looking for that privy mark, of course.
We got another one over here on this side.
So, yeah, let's just continue on, guys,
see if we can get lucky.
All right, we had a whole bunch pop up in that row.
Most of them came out obverse up when we saw the Philly,
so let's check these two, though.
Yeah, those are both going to be Philly as well.
All right, guys, I think we have one more 2019,
well, this is a 2020, actually, ender here.
This is going to be another one of those Salt River Bay.
Not in the best of shape, though.
But still, a W is a W, if you can pull one out.
So, let's go ahead and unwrap this one
and see if we're going to get lucky
and snag a W right off the end there.
So, this is our coin.
A quick flip here for a W,
and nope, that's going to be a Philly.
Like I said, not in very good shape.
Probably some water damage there, if I had to guess.
Let's go ahead and open up the rest of this row, guys.
I'm seeing some shiners once again, so good sign.
Let's see if we can get something else.
All right, we got four bells coming out of that roll.
Nice little haul here.
It would be great if we could see a July 4th, though.
That's really what we're looking for here.
Not that time.
All right, let's get on to the next.
All right, guys, so I believe the roll I just opened
was our other Bison 10 Yule Ender, and yep, there we go.
I think that's our fourth one out of the box so far.
So, we will take that, add it to the stack,
and let's see if it's going to bring us any luck
on the rest of the coins here.
All right, so right off the bat,
we got a couple of bells showing up for us here.
Oh, look at that.
We actually have another Bison 10 Yule
coming out of the other side, so another twofer right there.
Let's see if that's going to bring us any luck here
on these Declaration of Independence coins.
No, unfortunately not, at least on those two.
I'm sure there's more in here, though.
Let's take a look.
All right, guys, I think I just found a coin
that I have not seen before.
This is Ida B. Wells,
and I think this is going to be a 2025.
Yes, it is.
So, I don't think we have that one in our collection yet.
I will put that one to the side,
and we'll fill it in with that Mayflower Compact
that we found earlier for the 2026,
as well as at least one of,
maybe I'll just pick out the best example
of the Declaration of Independence,
because we do still need that for our collection,
regardless of whether it's the rare one or not.
So, we got a bunch of coins finding here
for the first time today, guys.
We'll put them into the collection
once we get through a few more rolls.
All right, we got a couple more bells here.
Let's take a quick peek.
Nope, not that time.
And we are breaking into roll number 15 now, guys.
This is somewhat of an ender,
only because I still need the Denver mint mark
on that Maria Tallchief.
So, if we get the Denver here,
we'll be putting that one into the collection as well.
I've been having a very difficult time finding it, though.
But wait a minute, guys.
What in the world do we have there?
That is definitely not a clag quarter.
So, we either have our second silver quarter in two boxes,
or we have a Canadian.
And I tend to lean towards Canadian,
but you never know.
That may end up being another silver quarter.
Oh, man, I really thought we had one there, guys.
No, it's gonna be a Canadian,
and not quite old enough to make it into that silver range.
You can get silver Canadian coins as well,
just in case you didn't already know that.
It's very close.
If you look at this, guys, 1968 is sort of the cutoff.
Some 1968 are silver as well.
This is just going to be a 1965 Canadian quarter.
There is Queen Elizabeth II,
and then there is your caribou, 1975.
We'll have to check to see if we need that,
because I am collecting the Canadian quarters as well.
But anyways, guys, back to our somewhat ender here.
Let's take a look.
We got Maria Tallchief.
We're looking for the Denver Mint,
and that's gonna be a Philadelphia once again.
It's nice to have such a hard time
finding those Denver Mints,
especially when the coins are relatively new.
They just don't really come out very often.
But all right, guys, back to the main task at hand,
which is looking for these
Declaration of Independence privy marks.
We got another bell there.
Let's see.
No, not on that one.
So all right, we'll keep looking.
All right, got another Mayflower Compact coming out.
So those are starting to pop up here and there for sure.
All right, look at this, guys.
I think we got like three bells in a row.
There's one, two, and then two coins later,
a third coming out toward the end of this roll.
Let's give them a quick flip here
to check them all for that privy mark.
Unfortunately, nothing there.
And just like that, we are officially out of enders.
It took us, what is that, 16 rolls?
We basically had 16 rolls of enders.
That's a pretty insane feat right there.
We found a Canadian quarter of all things as well,
which you really don't see pop out too often
in these machine wrapped rolls.
There's a 2020.
I'll put that to the side
so we can check that for a W in a little bit.
And I definitely saw some shiners in here.
There's a nice bell right there.
We'll get to in just a second.
And let's see what else we got in this roll.
All right, we ended up with three of them on this roll.
Let's just do a quick check here and nothing there.
All right, just a single bell in that next one.
We'll check that real quick.
Just got the Philly.
As usual, guys, we have one more roll here
until this is actually our 20th roll.
So we're getting close to the halfway mark on this box.
We have a whole bunch of 2019s and 2020s
that we'll check in just a second here.
We also have a few coins I want to throw up
under the microscope to look for these varieties
in a couple of these things.
But obviously, guys, the main search, as always,
in a box like this is going to be
that 2026 Declaration of Independence with the privy mark.
So we'll continue our search for that.
Anything else we find along the way
is just a little cherry on top if we're able to find that.
But there's another Murray Tallchief.
Of course, looking for the Denver on that one.
Never successful at finding it.
We'll continue on here and see what we can get.
And we just had three Declaration of Independence in a row.
Two came out, well, I just got another one.
Two came out, obverse up, two came out, bell side up.
There's another Murray Tallchief.
We'll check that one real quick.
Unsuccessful there, but I am happy to see.
I mean, every single roll so far
has had at least one in there.
I think at least, yeah, two was our lowest.
So if we can continue that trend,
we'll continue to have chances at the privy mark
that we're looking for along with everything else.
There's another one, but that's,
there's a back quarter right there, 2020.
Another back quarter,
make sure I didn't miss a West Point on that one.
There's another 2026 obverse up.
Not what we're looking for.
There is our final bell, it looks like, on this one.
Oh, there's a 2020 Marshall Tellings Rockefeller.
Don't wanna miss that.
So let's just give these bells a real quick check here, guys.
We are coming up on the halfway point.
There's a P, a P, and can I grab that last one?
Oh man, thought that was gonna be it,
but quite a few there, as you can see.
What is that, seven out of that roll?
So not too shabby.
And our stack of 2019s and 2020s continues to grow, guys.
Maybe we can get a West Point
and sort of like a consolation prize,
even if we don't end up finding
a Declaration of Independence that we're looking for.
You guys see all the shiny ones in there?
It's kind of lining this right side, as you can see there.
I like this right there, and not a privy mark.
It's a Declaration of Independence, though,
with the P on it, of course.
All right, there's a bell right there, very nice to see.
And we'll continue on, guys.
I'll let you know if I find anything.
All right, so we ended up with four bells out of that one.
Let's check them all real quick here.
Got Philly, Philly, Philly, and Philly.
So guys, just so you know, for the privy mark,
it would be on the left-hand side.
It would say July 4th,
and there would not be a Philadelphia mint mark whatsoever.
Even though I believe they were minted in Philadelphia,
they decided to omit the Philadelphia mint mark
and just put the July 4th privy mark instead.
So that is the design we're looking for.
Haven't been successful so far,
but we have more than half the box to go,
so let's continue on.
So here's the stack that we've come up with,
all mixed in 2019s, 2020s.
We're looking for that W West Point mint mark.
So let's see if we can get our focus in here
and just start looking to see if we got ourselves
a lucky West Point in the flood of Philadelphias
in the occasional Denver.
So far, no luck, but you just never know.
There's another Denver right there, I'll take that.
Nice to see a little bit of variety.
And here we go, guys, coming up on our last one,
and it's just gonna be a Philly.
So no luck on the 2019 and 2020s for the first half.
We did get a few coins in that first half
that I wanna check for some variety.
So we're gonna start off with these 2008 Alaskas.
We're looking for the extra claw.
This one sort of has it,
but I think really what I like to see
is some extra material between the letters,
and I'm not seeing that on this one.
So I'll probably throw this one back,
especially given that massive scratch there
on the bottom side of the bear.
Let's slide on over to our second one to check.
Oh, that's a definite massive extra claw right there.
You can see a whole bunch of extra material
in between the fourth and fifth digits there.
And let's see if we're gonna have anything
on the Great Land here.
Nothing really there,
but just given the size of that extra claw,
I think I will hold onto this one.
So we'll put that one to the side, guys.
Now let's take a look.
We have a Kansas quarter here.
We're looking for the Ngadwe Rust Heir.
I'll throw a picture up of what that looks like.
And let's see if we have it here.
We do not, guys.
That T is showing through just fine,
so we'll throw that one back.
All right, guys, now let's go ahead
and fill some coins into our collection.
So the latest collection that we have
is gonna be this American Women's Quarter series
from 2022 to 2025.
And as you can see there,
that's that Maria Tallchief I'm still looking for.
That's the only coin we need on that first page still.
We need quite a few on this second one,
so the 2024s and 2025s.
You can see the 2025 Ida B. Wells.
That's the one that we found a little bit earlier.
That's gonna be this coin right here.
It's gonna be going in right there,
the 2025 Philadelphia.
And you can see we found a lot of the other 2025s already.
That one was missing.
We are also missing the Dr. Vera Rubin
and the Althea Gibson.
Of course, everything is only coming in
in the Philadelphia mints.
I have such a difficult time finding those Denvers.
There we go, just popped in the Ida B. Wells Philadelphia.
And now I know what you're probably thinking.
Where else are we gonna put these 2026 coins?
Well, it turns out I actually have an extra page,
which I purchased separately.
Actually, my wife Debra got it for me
for Christmas one year,
and it's come in handy in several occasions,
including right now.
I do have my 64 silver quarter
just kind of chilling right there.
But for now, guys,
the 2026s are going to be filled into this portion up here.
So the very first one that they came out with
is gonna go right here,
and that's gonna be that Mayflower Compact,
which we found earlier.
Here's probably our nicest example
of that Mayflower Compact.
That's gonna be going in right there,
so let me put that into place.
There we go, just got that one in.
And then our Declaration of Independence here
is actually the third one in the series.
It came out in late June of 2026.
So that one is actually gonna be going
right there underneath it.
And just like that,
we got our two coins into the collection.
The first 2026s that we have found,
we are still gonna be looking out
for that Revolutionary War.
The second one in the series,
for some reason, has not shown up,
but the Declaration of Independence has.
Go figure.
And then, guys, before we continue on,
I gotta check our Canadian 25-cent collection
to see if we have that 1975 that we found earlier.
So this collection goes from 53 up through 89.
Of course, we're gonna be missing
basically all of those silvers.
I don't think I've ever found a silver Canadian quarter.
But taking a look here, guys,
it looks like we do still need
that 1975 in the collection.
And it's actually a little bit rarer
than the one next to it that we already found,
192 million versus 141 million for that 1975.
There we go, we got it in place.
And let's just give it a little push.
And just like that,
we got another Canadian quarter filled
into our collection, found in an American roll.
All right, pretty successful first half of the box,
despite the fact that we didn't find
what we're looking for yet,
that 2026 Declaration of Independence Privy Mark.
We got 25 more rolls to go, guys.
Who knows what we're gonna find?
Let's go ahead and find out.
Oh, you're kidding, guys.
Oh, man, I don't know if you guys saw my last episode,
but I've been searching for the L.U.N.K. 2012 Denver Forever
and I found it last episode for the first time
in about 20 boxes.
And then the very next box, what do you know,
we find another one.
How crazy is that?
I think the other one we found
is in a little better shape than this one, though,
so I'm happy to keep that one in the collection.
But still putting this one to the side
because, man, have I had a difficult time finding that coin.
All right, guys, so far the second half of the box
is going a lot quicker.
This is roll number 31, I believe.
So let's take a quick look here
just to see what a nice, shiny state quarter looking
quarter right there, nice New York.
We'll probably put that one in the collection
as a replacement.
But yeah, guys, we haven't been,
I mean, we're still finding the 2026s.
As you can see right there, we get another one.
Just none of the Privy Mark
and not quite as many as I've found in previous rolls either.
So there's a quick peek at that one.
There's a 2020, we can check that one in a bit.
There's a couple more 2026 Declaration of Independence
is coming up right here.
Give that one a quick flip, but nothing on that one.
So what is that, like three in the roll?
Maybe there'll be another, who knows?
But yeah, I think that's about it for that roll, guys.
So a little bit more quiet, oh, wait a minute.
I almost missed one
because I was blabbing my head off here.
All right, so four in that roll, we'll go with four.
I'm gonna double check these,
make sure I didn't miss anything else.
But yeah, guys, just kind of continuing through here,
see what we can find.
Not a whole lot as of late though.
All right, guys, after this roll,
we are down to just 10 rolls remaining.
Really not too much to show for the last 10,
but let's take a look here at this one.
And then I got a whole bunch of 2019s and 2020s
that we will take a look at.
Got a couple of the Declaration of Independence
in a row right there,
both just be in the Philadelphia mint mark.
But let's see what else we got here.
There's another one, another Philadelphia.
Oh, another two in a row right there,
both be in the Philadelphia, of course.
This roll's actually pretty stacked
with these Declaration of Independence.
There's another one, we'll check for the Kirby mark.
Nope, not on that one.
All right, just gonna take a look
at the last few coins in the roll.
There's another 2019, we'll check for the W.
Let's see what else we got here
as we near the last few coins.
And I think that's gonna be about it on that roll.
So look at that, we got, what is that?
Six of the 2026 Declaration of Independence.
Not too bad, especially given
how these last few rolls have been going.
I think we got one that only had
a single 2026 Declaration of Independence in it.
Still haven't got one without one yet, so that's good.
All right, guys, let's take a peek at these coins here
just to see if we're gonna be getting lucky
and grabbing ourselves a W.
I feel like it's been maybe three or four boxes
since we were able to find a W.
And keep this in mind, guys.
This is probably going to blow your mind.
There are 20 million West Point quarters
that were put into circulation
versus only 250,000 of the July 4th Privy Mark,
which is an 80 times decrease
in the amount of those rare mint marks.
So that is an insane statistic.
It just puts into perspective how rare these are.
You see how difficult it is for us to even find a West Point.
Now, granted, this is six or seven years later
for 2019 and 2020s.
So, you know, there's been more chance
for people to pull them out.
But it really puts it into perspective
how rare these July 4th Privy Marks are.
And it kind of makes me feel like this is the only time,
like right now, and maybe we've even missed
the window for it, that we'll be able to find these.
So I am busting my butt trying to get
as many quarter boxes as I can
so we can check them for that Privy Mark.
There's a reason why they go for so much.
It's because they're so dang rare.
So, all right, guys, we got 10 more rolls,
10 more chances at getting one on this box.
Let's go ahead and jump into them
and see if we can get lucky.
We got another Bicentennial popping out there.
I think that is our seventh one,
so not too bad for 40 rolls in.
All right, and then we got another one.
I think that's our third two Bicentennial roll,
which makes up the majority of the Bicentennials.
That's crazy.
Oh my gosh, guys, I thought we just had our first roll
without a single 2026 Declaration of Independence,
but it came out right at the end there.
We got a single one in that roll.
We just have seven more rolls to go,
so we'll see if we can snag anything else.
Whoa, what the heck do we have here?
Well, that's a new one, guys.
This is a foreign coin.
I would have never guessed it from the edge.
It definitely looks like a regular clad American quarter,
but here we go, Republica de Panama, 1983.
That's really cool.
Hey, you know what?
I feel like I have found these before, but it's been a while.
I've been finding all kinds of different foreign coins
in these rolls lately.
It's so weird to see that they somehow make it
into the rolls.
I'll go ahead and put up a conversion
on what this would be worth in USD.
They usually come out to about the same,
you know, about 25 cents,
especially given that it almost looks like
it's made in the exact same place that we make our quarters.
I think you read that un cuarto de Balboa,
so you pronounce the Vs like Us, basically.
But very, very cool find right there, guys.
Coming out right at the tail end of this box.
We got five more rolls to go.
Let's see what else we can find.
What in the world do we have there, guys?
This is our third roll from the end,
and we have a very dirty looking quarter here,
although sometimes that type of thing
can end up being like a really old quarter,
like a Standing Liberty or something.
So let's pull it out and see.
No, that's just gonna be your standard Eagle,
and it's probably gonna be from,
I'm gonna guess the 70s,
maybe sitting in the ground or something.
No, 90s, wow.
That definitely got aged.
All right, guys, so this is our third from the end.
Just three more chances at grabbing ourselves
one of those privy quarters.
Let's see if we can do it.
We got a whole bunch coming out
in this second to last roll,
so let's check real quick here.
That one's just gonna be the P.
Now that one, you can see,
it doesn't have it on the left side,
so you already know that's not going to be
what we're looking for.
That one on the side, and what about that one?
Nope, no July 4th on that one either.
That means that this roll right here
is our last chance at getting one of those
2026 Declaration of Independence
with the privy mark on it, at least in this box.
I did see quite a few shiny edges there,
so let's see, maybe this is the one.
All right, there was a one shot right there.
That wasn't quite it.
Get through some of these more circulated coins
and work our way towards some more of those shiners.
There's another one right there.
Give it a quick flip, and nope,
that's just gonna be the Philly as usual.
We got another one coming up.
I like the bells, love to see those bells.
So nope, not on that one.
How about that one?
Nope, that's already not.
Quite a few in this roll though, I like that.
Give that one a flip.
Nope, nothing there.
And coming down to the end of it now, guys,
there's one more bell, and it looks like one more obverse,
which we can already tell is not going to be
what we're looking for.
So it looks like this is our last shot, guys,
on this box at least.
Are we gonna get one last call?
Three, two, one.
No, unfortunately not, just the P.
But as it turns out, we do have a decent amount
of those 2019s and 2020s to look at,
so maybe we'll get that W consolation prize.
Let's just take a quick peek here
and see if we can sneak one out.
Like I said, guys, these are 80 times more common
than the July 4th preview mark,
so you'd think at some point you would pull one out,
especially with the amount of quarters
that we're looking at these days.
Mostly Philadelphia, so far though,
and coming down to our final three here,
another P there, and the final one is also going to be a P,
so we struck out on the Ws.
What about the varieties though?
We actually have a ton of Alaska quarters to check here.
We can see this one does have the extra claw for sure,
and oh, look at that, guys,
it actually has some extra material.
You can see between the E and the A in great,
and then it looks like the A in land is kind of messed up,
same with the tail of the L in land as well,
so that's definitely a keeper right there.
What about the next one, guys?
We have six of these to check, if you can believe it.
That one's looking fairly,
oh no, we got the same thing on this one, guys.
E and the A has that extra material,
so another keeper right there.
What about number three?
We definitely have the extra claw,
and then this one is looking pretty just fine
on the lettering, so I think we'll throw that one back.
How about this one?
Wow, yeah, extra claw, and look at that, guys, same thing.
The A and the L in land are messed up,
and then the E and the A in great
have that extra material between them,
so another one for the keeping pile right there.
We got one more to check right here.
Actually, no, we have two more to check.
This one looks fairly normal, not seeing any extra material,
and then sliding on down to right over here,
definitely have the extra claw,
and the lettering looks just fine on this one,
so I think we'll throw that one back.
It sounds like we got two out of six we're keeping, though,
and then we're taking a look at the Ngadwe Rust
once again on those Kansas quarters, guys.
Let's see if we're gonna snag ourselves an Ngadwe Rust,
so T looks fine on the first and the second,
and final one right here, the T looks just fine,
and then look at that, guys.
That is in great shape.
We may actually wanna put that one in the collection,
and then, guys, here is a look at the distribution
of those 2026 Declaration of Independence quarters
across the first and second half,
so this little rectangle over here is the first half.
You can see we have much larger stacks,
especially towards the front here.
These were our enders, by the way, up here in the front,
and yeah, pretty nice numbers there,
and then it definitely thinned out towards the end here.
You can see we have a couple
that only had a single 2026 Declaration of Independence
in the roll, but every single roll had at least one,
so that was pretty cool to see,
and then we also ended up with eight Bicentennial quarters.
We got a foreign coin.
I believe that is from Panama,
so pretty neat find right there
that you don't see every day,
and then a house quarter,
which I always like to keep these, so pretty cool stuff.
We were also able to fill some coins
into not only our American collection,
but also our Canadian collection as well,
if you can believe it.
Maybe we should get a Panamanian collection
and start filling that in, too.
Overall, guys, great hunt.
We didn't find what we were looking for
with that 2026 Declaration of Independence Privy Mark,
but we do have another box to look through
that looks like it's gonna give us
an equal chance to find that,
so I'm excited for that one.
I've also put in an order
for two more boxes from the same bank,
so hopefully they can give me some more of that,
and we'll just get more and more chances
at finding that coin.
