No storm, no soaking wet sleeping bag, no waking up frozen at 3am for once... Just me, a bivvy bag, a limestone ridge, and genuinely perfect weather ☀️ which, if you've watched any of my other camps, you'll know basically never happens 🤣

This was a solo bivvy camp up on Whitbarrow Scar in the Lake District, which is honestly one of the strangest and most underrated spots in the whole national park. Almost everything around here is ancient volcanic rock, but this ridge is limestone, so the landscape up top feels completely different to anywhere else in Cumbria. Big open pavement, huge skies, and views stretching right out over Morecambe Bay and the Kent estuary.

No tent this time, just a bivvy bag, which means there's nothing between you and the sky all night.
