World Cup Player Performances: Stars & Disappointments

was awarded the best young player of the tournament youth bellingham also uh mentioned there and disappointments i think that vinnie jr was for me one of the disappointments of the tournament yeah uh neymar neymar with everything i mean i knew neymar was going to have a hard time shining like the rest of them he comes from many years of full of injuries although he had some success with santos the last two tournaments and he was able to do heroics with them also he was not consistent now yeah who who are the players that you were hoping to see more from i was you know honestly vinnie jr now that you say it i was i was hoping to see vinnie uh play more with the team i think uh the reason they didn't get far as they should have is because they kind of feed vinnie the ball and hope that he creates a goal or a cross and that didn't work out for them so vinnie unfortunately didn't uh perform how we all expected him to um i can't i can't think of any other players at the moment right now who didn't perform as well as they should have um yeah no i don't know what about you d for me there's a few players that i wish they did better i think like um one of the ones let's go to concaca because it's our region and let's talk about the latinos panama had a hard time in this world cup and i think one of the reasons was because their main player conca player of the year carrasquilla also an important player of my pumitas wasn't able to perform in the world cup he was one of the players in conca that i really wanted for for them i feel like luis diaz from colombia yeah also didn't have the opportunity to really you know i was expecting so much from colombia i thought that they had it unfortunately just like mexico there's there's something that we're missing there at the critical moment to just really turn around the the the result in our favor uh actually for mexico not that i not that i didn't think that they played well but i wished we had seen more of omega gonzalez and he's a young player that should have given an opportunity in that last game yeah also chavez yeah i think that versus uh england and we saw it with argentina how they liberated enzo playing behind to have that long distance shot and it worked because he was able to score i feel like if we had bring chavez yeah into that game versus england we could have that long distance option that we didn't even exercise or try in that game so um yeah let's see who got the most cards isa dio from morocco three yellow cards bernardo silva two yellow two yellow cars and casimiro two yellow cars red cars everybody got one nobody got more than one nobody will be crazy my friend now noah um we are done with the world cup yeah i'm i'm it's bittersweet i'm happy because i'm gonna get a rest a breather but at the same time uh it's sad i don't know what we're gonna do when we've had so many games so much emotion and now we drift away in back into our domestic leagues are you excited for the return of mls and and the european competition league i make is already on their way on match day two this weekend what are you watching coming up i'm gonna be watching a lot of league games you know i'm gonna watch miami to watch messy see how he's doing of course but something that i'm looking more forward to is the next copa america i want to see these countries come out because i feel like this world cup we were able to see so many teams shine and learn so many new players names like quinones i want to see mexico play in the next tournament i want to see how quinones yes you know perform with a 200 000 200 million dollar uh clause for them to let him go
