Chairman Pfluger Joins Newsmax To Put Pressure on the WNBA or Face Congress

RSC Chairman August Pfluger joined Newsmax TV's Bianca Across the Nation, pressing the WNBA to answer for its handling of attacks on Caitlin Clark and other players and laying out the RSC's continued priorities for a third reconciliation package, centered on affordability, defense, and rooting out fraud.

Pfluger led a group of 11 House Republicans in a letter demanding that WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert address the league's response to the targeting of its players, with a deadline of July 24th for response. He argues that Congress has clear jurisdiction to act given the WNBA's status under interstate commerce laws, and that a hearing could be on the table if the league refuses to enforce accountability.
