After Surgery, Rescued Kitten Nene Wouldn't Leave Goemon Alone... #GJWPets

Today was a big day of trials for Goemon, our resident cat. Goemon came home safely after his neutering surgery, but he’s still a little sluggish from the anesthesia.

Nene, the youngest of the litter, noticed that something was strange about her big brother. Nene is usually a clingy and mischievous little one, but today she was different. Her efforts to cheer Goemon up—trying her best in her own clumsy way—were truly heartwarming.

I was also deeply moved to see the other resident cats coming over to comfort Goemon.
Even though they can’t speak the same language, the bond between siblings is undeniably there.

Goemon, you really did great. Get some rest, and let’s play together again soon.
