Iasi Open final win makes it 'one of the best years' of Sherif's career

First of all I wanted to congratulate Paola for an amazing couple of weeks. You showed your heart on the court this week. You showed everybody how to fight this week so thank you for being such a great image for tennis and I know it's a shame today and I hope you get soon well. I also want to thank my coach who's always with me he's like my family What started the worst year of my career I think will end up one of the best years of my career. We've been through so much together this year and I'm so proud of us of where we've become this year so thank you for sticking with me and working so hard. I was very happy here. I was treated in a very friendly way since the beginning from the fans from the tournament directors from Michaela from the physios everybody was trying their best to help us out and definitely one of the best tournament I have played and it's also special because it's in Romania. I know you guys weren't on my side today but thank you for being very respectful showing up every day. You guys have been great great atmosphere so thank you so much and I hope to see you next year.
