Joyful Gatherings II Trunk Show with Lisa Bongean | Primitive Gatherings

Hey everyone it's Lisa from Primitive Gatherings and I'm here in Houston for Fall Quilt Market and I really would love to show everybody my fabric line that we are introducing here this weekend. So let me introduce you to Joyful Gatherings 2. Here you can see all of the fabrics that are in the fat quarter. So we have a book that we are featuring a bunch of quilts. I don't really know exactly how many but I'll go through them and you can count. So over here we have Whispering Pines and this is featuring the panel that is in the line. So the panel is located on the bottom of the fat quarter tower or bundle however you prefer to call it. And over here it's full out in the bottom of the booth there so you can see all of the characters that are in the panel. It is a one yard panel so you'll get 15 on a bolt. And then over here we have Polar Bear which is a nice smaller size quilt that would be good for a baby quilt or decorating at Christmas time. I love to not have big full-size quilts to decorate sometimes so I like to make a variety of big quilts for the beds and smaller quilts for decorating. This little guy over here is 25 by 25. It is called Winter's Bloom and it's a poinsettia. So that is one of our themes for this year going forward. Behind me here we have Wisconsin Christmas which is another small quilt but it's super fun to make because there are seven different blocks in the quilt. We have a couple Ohio stars that are done different ways. We have like this quarter log cabin. We have the half log cabin. And then we have this guy right here. So here I just made a flying geese, pieced flying geese. So it looks really complicated but I break it down to make it really easy. And then we have Christmas chain. So a simple chain, Irish chain quilt. We have red squares. We have green squares on that one. And then over here this one is called Poinsettia Lane and that has that super cool medium print in there that just gives it a little extra charm. Around the show here I have a couple other quilts that they hung and we have a couple jelly roll quilts, wrapped in ribbons one of them is called. We have our quilt along quilt which is little trees with pieced blocks in them that we're going to run as a quilt along. Probably the fabric comes in in June if I didn't say that. So we have a June delivery so hopefully by Christmas in July we'll be starting quilt alongs and sew alongs with this fabric. But then I want to point out that all of the fabrics in Joyful Gatherings 2 will work with the Joyful Gatherings 1 project. So if you still have this book you can still order this fabric or use this fabric to make some of the quilts that you see here with your old fabrics. We'll mix in with your new fabrics so it's super fun. But I did bring some of those projects. So I have some stockings here that we are going to put into a single pattern. We have a mini charm quilt here that's called From Santa. So it's a little present there that's just made with one mini charm. So you know that in my books I always add other projects that kind of feature my wool applique. So here this print is in Joyful 1 but it's in Joyful 2 as well. So you can make these fun pillows for your guests. I have wool mats that we have offered and this one was in the Joyful 1 book but we're going to single pattern them as of now. So then another beautiful runner Frosted Poinsettia Runner. This is a single pattern. It is PRI 862. If you need a reference number for that one. And then last but not least you know I love my little quilts, right? So this one I believe is called Bright Star Mini Quilt. So I think you can get this out of a charm. So a five inch square you can get each one of those little blocks out of that. I hope you enjoyed my little tour here of my booth and what we all have coming up in June of 2026.
