The flam tap rudiment can be a difficult rudiment to master if you don't have a solid drumming foundation in regards to basics. Young Eli Boyd , a mini snare drummer from ATL DRUM ACADEMY does a good job demonstrating and educating us musically on this drum rudiment. This rudiment is mostly used on the drum line and in marching / concert band alike.
