France 🇫🇷 vs. Czechia 🇨🇿 - Highlights | Week 3 | Women's VNL 2026

and jai has to hold herself and then lands it on the line gets a point it is quite funny how much more willing and able this is what's going to be needed in the european championships who knows whether injuries are going to crop up again mati having to go off court little tip but there's no way potentially just not spotted by the czechia hitter off court but branches goes there and that's not going to be caught and retrieved by ratahiri in play that's a good side out they're on the cusp of double figures now 9 24 well it's a glimpse of what france are capable good sir but let's see how this is going to go oh yes magnifique they've got a double figures that's a minor celebration because it's been a very very wobbly first set for france and jai will try to produce another special from the that's another great serve you gotta say oh yes now we're talking in mati on her debut in week three lost the first set against bulgaria yesterday and that was alarm bells ringing but they came back and took the next three so they can do that today and she's good goes for the tip as you long was there read it well mati that wasn't the greatest of sets so that's a free ball big chance now branchuska thank you very much cross court lovely angle and that's the first set 25 12 in 21 minutes i thought we're going to be done in a quarter of an hour at one stage there's ripping through it but france found a little bit of form right at the end that gives them encouragement for set two but in terms of set one that was very much check here all the way good as a taking a breather she's been carrying something of a shoulder injury so you can understand that so 23 year old magda bukovska outside hitter comes into play that's a good block straight away that's exactly what i would have said in you go there ali really lovely reach i think eluga getting on most change things up which is why a mati came on the setup for an order dana celos she's had time to digest that oh what a great block that is wow we never saw anything of that in the first set of leveling deciding she had to take that one ranchuska doesn't get it down then as a loss makes it look so easy and jay just goes for the tip the block is up and is there a touch off the hands the answer is no and we have a recovery and sylves as shmidova gets his underway for czechia all in blue with those red shorts can't get that through so paul really wound herself up with that right arm now blocking and that's a good swing by ranchuska the court with a broken nose in the match against the usa in the first week in canada that's not the smoothest of passes diglinova managed to rescue it but a big chance here for that's coming straight back over from eluga and then ranchuska puts that away with minimum fuss maximum efficiency i'd certainly more like it for branches gun check yeah such a great disguise from shmidova gotta play the dig now they're gonna ready where's this ball going oh yes yes you're over they were waiting the middle attack by silvers seemed to be telegraphed and she was just waiting 15 on 15 he's got a very heavy arm what a good server what a great reception bukovska picks herself up goes again just long check here technically a little bit not like opposite okay love that service sorry she has just gone up with her arms but completely kept her fingertips in she's claiming a touch without much conviction that went straight out here we go gesticulating while the anchor prepares jillon will take that that's a good pass now who's gonna put it away the answer is and jay will put it away 25 22 france from one set down now lead in this match but it makes for entertainment because you can't believe what you're seeing in the first set and then suddenly it's what a turnaround that's a great serve big chance now is in place and eluga has a golden arm at the moment made a debut in the world championships last year for france good block but digging over it not going to be out done and then curacyani just puts that away rips it through nice fast offense for czechia right off the recycle from the block as well that's joint top scorer they've got shuska hello there we go 25 17 czechia right back in it and we are indeed going to five what a france that's not the most confident of receptions nyankova has that under control shvidova will send to bukovska it's coming straight back over and then cross court well worked both teams were involved but in the end very much in system check here take that time for a monster block nice pass cool heads needed big fast arms curacyani was ready waiting got it so here's a better look at it there's no net touch nj on serve picked up by digging over yegi keeps it in play and now tippy goes big bukovska now where are we going to go now let's have a look is there a touch no the standing captain is now ready by the net here she is setting and straight away goes to the player who's made a debut this year can she seal this match it's in play hands outside in an opposite and now big server in play never in doubt tries to close out another match point for france you've got to admire the cool and now she's on serve curacyani they will not give way a scent that's in a touch in your routine in play try to clinch and she does the top scorer in the match monica branchuska
