The lesson 25 is a rudiment that many drummers talk about but they use them all of the time during their snare drum solos , drum line performances , drum battles concert band and also Drumset . This is why music education is so important so that the musician will know exactly what they are playing .
This rudiment is used a lot in marching band and can be manipulated to be played several different ways . So try it out and see how it feels under your hands.

Oh, what up? I didn't even know y'all was...
Okay, I did. Whatever.
What's up, YouTube?
Today is Day 15 of 31 Rudiments with Atlanta Drum Academy.
And today I'm going to pick a very unpopular rudiment
where a lot of people don't really play that much.
I mean, they play them, but they don't know that they're playing.
Today's rudiment is going to be the Lesson 25.
Why do they call it Lesson 25?
I don't even think that it's number 25 on the chart.
I'm not sure, but I don't know.
Anyway, so we have our drag, right?
All right.
And my drag.
And after that, we have...
All right, so once again, we have our drag.
So we're here.
All right, so let's do it slow.
All right, that's pretty much a rudiment, and it does not alternate.
All right, you can start on the right.
The left.
Lesson 25, so let's do it slow.
Let's do it without the drag.
One, two, ready, and one and two.
Drag in.
That's all it is.
Double time.
All right, you can play it that fast, or you can also move the asset.
We can grid it, so we can do this.
Let's grid it again.
No matter what we play, our hands here.
25.
Try it.
That's it.
Now, you can get fancy and try to alternate if you want to,
but you ain't got to do all that.
Just keep it on whatever hand you start on.
All right?
And this is not even an advanced rudiment, really.
It's not that hard.
All right?
Get that drag down.
And here.
Lesson 25, day 15 of 31.
Maybe I should have let that have been the 25th rudiment, but too bad.
Already recorded, and I'm not about to pick another rudiment.
Sorry.
Peace.
