Haunted Girl (alternatively titled Abbey Grace) is a chilling, atmospheric independent supernatural horror thriller directed by Stephen Durham. The film stars Debbie Sheridan and Jacob Hobbs in a terrifying fight against a century of localized evil. The story follows Stacey (Sheridan), a woman who puts her entire career and personal life on absolute hold following the sudden death of her mother. She returns to her isolated childhood home to take over the care of her adult brother, Ben (Hobbs), who suffers from severe OCD and deep, paralyzing agoraphobia—having been physically unable to step outside the front door for 23 years. However, as they attempt to settle into a new routine, a series of unsettling, violent paranormal events turn their sanctuary into a supernatural prison. Digging into local archives, Stacey makes a blood-chilling discovery: their home once served as a girls' boarding school that was abandoned in 1919 after the headmistress hanged herself, and was later the site of a gruesome 1943 tragedy where a young girl named Abbey Grace brutally slaughtered her entire family. Cut off from the outside world and feeding on Ben's intense vulnerabilities, the restless entity wants history to repeat itself.
