Jul 18, 2026
Now I'm aware that most people won't agree with everything, just like every other list
anyone makes, so comment anything that you disagree with and I'll gladly further explain
my stance.
The debate is officially on.
ESPN has released its latest WNBA player rankings, and fans already have plenty to argue about.
Is Asia Wilson still the league's best player?
Has Kaitlyn Clark done enough to move higher?
Hit that like button, subscribe, and follow, because we're breaking down the biggest takeaways.
Holding onto the number one spot is four-time MVP Asia Wilson.
She's averaging 25.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, and two blocks per game while continuing to
dominate both ends of the floor.
Her consistency has once again made her the standard in the WNBA.
Coming in at number two is Kelsey Plum, who is having the best offensive season of her
career.
She's averaging nearly 24 points and over 6 assists while shooting better than 52% from
the field.
Despite missing time with injuries, she's been outstanding whenever she has played.
At number three is Kaitlyn Clark, who has bounced back after an injury-plagued 2025
season.
She's averaging career highs of 21.2 points and 8.2 assists while becoming the first player
in WNBA history to post six straight games with at least 20 points and 5 assists.
Right behind her is reigning rookie of the year Paige Beckers, averaging nearly 20 points
per game while continuing to impress with her efficiency.
The rest of the top ten features Brianna Stewart, rookie standout Olivia Miles, Alicia Gray,
Ryan Howard, Jackie Young, and Alyssa Thomas.
Each has played a major role for their team this season with elite scoring, defense, or
playmaking.
The season is far from over, and these rankings are sure to change.
So, who do you think deserves the top spot?
Is Asia Wilson still the clear number one, or should someone else take the crown?
