the art of going alone
#explore #lifestyle #travel #camping
A solo Southern California road trip from Los Angeles to San Diego, exploring Laguna Beach, Encinitas, North Park, Mission Beach, La Jolla Cove, surfing, vintage shopping, sleeping in my car, and discovering some of California's best coastal spots.
You can't around for others to explore the world, go alone if you have to!! With no schedule to follow but your own, every stop becomes an opportunity to explore. From wandering the streets of Laguna Beach and browsing vintage markets in Encinitas, to surfing in San Diego, watching sunset at Sunset Cliffs, and waking up after a night sleeping in my car, this weekend became a reminder that some of the best adventures happen when you decide to go anyway.
The journey continues through North Park's cafés, bookstores and vintage shops before cycling along Mission Beach, swimming with the seals at La Jolla Cove, and cruising back up the Pacific Coast with one final stop at the iconic In-N-Out Burger while watching planes descend into LAX. If you've ever wanted to experience a Southern California road trip, travel alone, or simply find inspiration to explore somewhere new, I hope this film encourages you to take that first step.
