Man injured after stabbing on SEPTA bus; suspect sought

A man was critically injured after being stabbed aboard a SEPTA Route 54 bus Friday afternoon in North Philadelphia.

SEPTA Transit Police said the incident began as a fight on the bus before escalating into a stabbing around 3:30 p.m. on the 2700 block of Germantown Avenue.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is in critical but stable condition.
