It's Benzinga bringing Wall Street to Main Street.
A cryptocurrency investor who uses a market-neutral official Trump meme coin strategy
to secure invitations to Trump-hosted events called the president's reported 1.4 billion
dollar crypto profits, absurd and mind-blowing. Airdrop Alert founder Morten Christensen has
regularly attended exclusive events for top Trump memcoin buyers, including a VIP dinner
where Trump addressed guests at his golf club near Washington.
In an interview with Benzinga, Christensen called President Trump's 1.4 billion dollar
cryptocurrency profits over nearly 14 months absurd and mind-blowing. He criticized Trump
for monetizing his presidency through cryptocurrency, merchandise, watches,
and trading cards. The meme coin's market value fell 98 percent from nearly 15 billion dollars
to 368 million dollars, while investors lost a combined 3.81 billion dollars,
and Trump collected more than 635 million dollars in royalties. Christensen sold his
Trump holdings during the first week and now uses a market-neutral strategy solely to qualify
for Trump-hosted events because he believes meme coins rarely last.
