Jamal Murray has the weirdest 50-point game of all time.
The Blue Arrows scored a 50-burger on the Cavs without attempting a single free throw.
Wanna know the other guys that have done this?
Jamal is the only player in NBA history to do this,
and we got to rewind to see exactly how that happened.
It's February 19th, 2021, and the Cavs hosted the Nuggets in an empty arena post-COVID.
And from the opening tip, something felt different about Murray.
He strips Colin ever so cleanly and jams it in the open lane.
Then he gets the ice on the short corner and…
That's poetry in motion right there.
Shot after shot, everything came naturally.
Every bucket looked so effortless, like he was levitating or something.
But with only 8 points after one, very few people could sense the big scoring night.
Things started to change though, as he continued even stronger in the second quarter.
Heat check!
Jamal got hot in the last 3 minutes of the half,
hitting 4 straight shots for 20 points on a blistering 9 of 11 shooting.
But the most interesting part of the game thus far is that he wasn't the highest scorer at the moment.
His teammate Michael Porter Jr. counted up to 21 of his own on 8 of 11 from the field.
So expectedly, the Nuggets were up big at the break.
This allowed the 23-year-old Murray to carry on with his flurry in the second half.
The Cavs made an adjustment on defense,
hoping that Sexton and Okoro could chase him away from the 3-point line
and funnel him to Jared Allen underneath the rim.
It sounded like a plan, but in reality, it never stood a chance, cause Jamal was sizzling.
He was torching the Cavs, adding 10 more points on a perfect 4 for 4 in the 3rd period.
But no one was ready for what was coming in the last frame, an avalanche.
He opens the 4th by walking into a pull-up 3.
Next strip down, almost the exact same spot, this time with a defender draped all over him.
Same result, another 3.
By now, JB Bickerstaff had tried just about everything.
Different matchups, more help, harder closeouts, nothing mattered.
The blue arrow was in the zone.
Everyone in the arena knew who's shooting.
And yet, on the next play, Murray races over half-court with a full head of steam.
No play to call, no hesitation, he rises from the left wing and splash.
Just like that, it felt like there wasn't a shot on the floor that Murray couldn't make.
He was unconscious.
Crossing half-court, Hartenstein set the back screen, freeing him from Okoro.
McGee steps up to contain the drive, but Murray blows right by him.
Stops on a dime and floats it over the big man.
Every touch felt like another highlight waiting to happen.
The Cavs had a 4-minute break from Jamal, but then, he got right back.
He split the double team like it wasn't even there,
exploding downhill and finishing the layup over two defenders.
Moments later, he started dancing on the poor Cavs.
And he lets the opponent's bench know what's up.
One basket shy from 50, it was time to get jiggy with it.
Now that's how you round up a historic 50.
He had a mind-boggling 21 shots out of 25 attempts.
Not a single free throw.
No superstar whistle, no easy points, no foul baiting either.
Just jumper after jumper.
He was money from everywhere.
And speaking of that, you may be entitled to a potential recovery of over a thousand dollars.
Here's why.
Recently, a jury ordered Meta and YouTube to pay millions of dollars
for their role in designing and promoting addictive platforms.
They knew their apps can contribute to anxiety, depression, and body image issues,
but did not share those risks while prioritizing profits.
The recent history verdict underscores the consequences of those decisions.
Now, Morgan & Morgan is stepping up to hold these platforms accountable for the harm they caused.

This gotta be one of the cleanest scoring displays the NBA has ever witnessed.
And yet, it somehow became one of the NBA's forgotten masterpieces.
This is how the game went, I guess.
I don't really need to go to the rim at all today.
I'm just making my shots.
And, you know, it's kind of cool to be making history.
Done it a few times in the past year or so.
Just two months later, though, everything would change.
Murray tore the ACL in his left knee, ending his season,
just as Denver looked like a legitimate championship contender.
The Nugget's title hopes vanished overnight.
Instead of becoming the start of his rise to superstardom, this game became something else.
A reminder of what Murray looked like at the peak of his powers.
A dynamic scorer that can shoot from every spot on the floor and make it over any defender's hand.
Until two years later, he finally got his chance to rewrite his career.
After 18 long months of rehab, Murray came back.
And little by little, the player Denver thought it had lost began to reappear.
By the 2023 playoffs, he was right back at his best.
Jamal averaged 32.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists while leading the Nuggets
to a sweep of the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.
Then, on the biggest stage of all, he and Jokic made some more history.
In Game 3 of the NBA Finals, they became the first teammates in NBA history to record
30-point triple-doubles in the same Finals game.
They proceeded to beat the Heat in 5 games and become champions.
That wasn't the last 50 for Jamal though,
as he racked up a career-high 55 points against the Blazers in 2025.
Then, just 4 months ago, he exploded for 53 against the Mavs.
This was magnificent as well, as Murray needed only 6 free throws to accomplish it.
He proved to him and to the world that he can get back to his old self after such a
serious injury.
And the newest guy on the Lakers summer team is trying his best to get back to his old
self as well.
Zaire Smith has to have one of the cruelest twists of fate in NBA history.
He went from being the best athlete in his draft class to almost dying from a food allergy
in his rookie season.
I detailed everything in this video right here, so check it out and talk to you in the
next one.
Peace out.
