A fascinating multicultural wedding, Matthew and Nazila’s celebration beautifully blended different traditions and cultures, creating an unforgettable day at Borgo Divino in Tuscany. Filming their wedding was truly an emotional and rewarding experience.

The day began with preparations at Borgo Divino, where the couple shared joyful moments with their groomsmen and bridesmaids. Meanwhile, the Sofreh Aghd, a traditional Persian wedding spread belonging to Nazila’s family, was being carefully arranged.

The ceremony consisted of two parts. The first was a symbolic ceremony, during which the couple exchanged their vows. This was followed by the Persian wedding ritual, accompanied by traditional music and concluded with the customary feeding of honey between the bride and groom, symbolizing the sweetness of their union.

After the traditional wedding portraits, guests enjoyed a poolside cocktail hour before moving to the courtyard, where elegantly decorated tables by Fairy Tale Wedding welcomed everyone for a magical dinner under the stars.

The evening continued with the cake cutting, preceded by the traditional Persian Knife Dance, performed by the bride’s sister. This was followed by the couple’s romantic first dance, which officially opened the party led by Gaetano Sicari.

The celebration carried on late into the night, and when it was finally time for us to say goodbye, we left the couple surrounded by their loved ones, enjoying every moment of this magnificent day.
