Bringing a 1920s antique back to life is never as straightforward as it seems. In this video, I take on a stunning Colonial Revival dresser that had seen better days, complete with its original sunburst inlay and a delicate gallery top. As the sole artisan behind Five Hearts Refinishing, I handle every aspect of the project myself—from the initial assessment to the final finish.

Antiques have a mind of their own. You’ll see that things didn't go exactly as planned when I tried to remove a delicate decorative detail, but that's the reality of custom restoration.
