Former US President Joe Biden has been ridiculed following the announcement of a new memoir about his time in the White House.

On Wednesday, Biden announced the new book on social media with a trailer teasing the content of the memoir titled ‘Promise Me, America’.

Biden revealed the memoir would detail his term as president, his decision to run for re-election and eventually drop out of the race.

The book will also cover Biden’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, the January 6 US Capitol protests, the Afghanistan withdrawal and the Ukraine war.

The former president, however, was blasted in the comments, with many arguing that Biden never wrote the book or that an “autopen” was used.
