AI GeneratedThis video provides a comprehensive tutorial on achieving a \"bronze goddess\" summer makeup look. The focus is on creating a glowy, sun-kissed aesthetic that looks natural and elegant rather than oily. The creator emphasizes the synergy between personalized skincare and strategic makeup application to ensure a fresh, skin-like finish that withstands warm weather.
Hello you lovely lot. Guess what? It's going to be a bronze goddess type of film.
So lots of lovely summer newness in this film which I'm very excited to share with you and
obviously it's going to be bronzy and glowy but with a little bit of a colour counterbalance
because you know when you kind of have the goldy brown eyeshadow, the brown lip gloss, the bronzer
it can end up being a little bit orangey, tad grubby on the skin. So we're going to go through
those types of tips and here is the final look. Yes she looks a lot more summer. She looks like
a little golden goddess doesn't she? So that's what we're going to do and we're going to go
through that look but first we're going to talk about Dermatica because they have offering,
they are offering all my wonderful followers another brilliant discount. This is their SPF
which I have talked about before as you know. It is a really lovely creamy almost serum like SPF.
It's great for my dry skin gang because it feels so lovely on the skin. In fact in this hot weather
I actually don't put this on top of my moisturiser like this is my moisturiser. I use a couple of
pumps to make sure that my skin is covered well and the reason that this is so important obviously
for Dermatica is because they are a personalised skincare service that do bespoke formulations for
your skin issues. So you get to use all these brilliant actives to correct your skin and
perfect your skin at night but they really want you to be able to protect your skin the next day.
So it was obviously essential for them to create this beautiful SPF which I really love. Now the
offer for you guys is that it is 20% off its usual price at £15.95. Everything is in the description
box and if you are new to Dermatica three months let me just tell you what it is. It's 50% off
your first three months of your personalised formula so it's £24.99 normally so it's £12.50.
I mean that is an absolute bargain. If you don't like it you don't have to continue with it but
let me tell you, try. It is really incredible the difference about having someone, an expert,
analyse your skin, giving you the active ingredients that you need for your skin and
seeing how it changes within that three months. It really does work. I cannot recommend Dermatica
enough. It is so affordable, it is so easy, it's completely unique for you and I've used it for my
boys and I've recommended it to friends and I've talked a lot about it on this channel as you know
so highly recommend so please take advantage of the discount today. Okay so that's in and lovely
and it feels all lovely, gorgeous and tacky which is a lovely way to start. Okay so let's start with
brand new brand actually called Outside In which is the new exciting brand from the Hourglass
founder Clarissa James. So I went to the launch the other day and they are the most beautiful
aesthetically pleasing products that I've seen in a long while and it is a serum foundation
and I wanted to show you, I'm doing this with the two products, it's a serum foundation but
she highly recommends that you start with the floral reserve facial which I do love and I do
like and actually with a lot of makeup if I'm trying to create a really glowy look and the
person's skin that I'm working on is in desperate need of exfoliation or is super dry or they've
been on a long flight then I will really nourish and massage oil into the skin so I'm totally down
with this pre-oil application before the base but as I've got my gorgeous juicy SPF on I'm not
going to do that because be aware you don't want to over layer your skin, you've got to really
read the moment when you're putting on your skincare and balancing it with your makeup
because it changes all the time depending where you are in the world, depending on the season,
depending how you're feeling, all of those things so I know a lot of us do our skincare and makeup
mindlessly, we need to be a little bit more mindful and I definitely don't need any more oil
on my skin because this is a lovely texture. So the shade that I got color matched for was 140
and it is really really beautiful, now this is an expensive foundation okay, this is a luxury,
I've probably put too much on, I know, now as you look what I wanted to show you is how little
you need for the coverage that you get, look, look how it just keeps on giving,
is all the word that I can use, it stretches and it keeps giving you this amazing coverage,
isn't that mad? So okay I'm not going to use that on there, so saying it's 60 pounds but gosh
you're gonna actually get a lot of use out of one pot, now that is really lovely coverage,
there is no skill, look, I've dashed my chin on the side of the tree, it's nice isn't it,
um doing the gardening, um god it is so good, well actually let's use this, let's use this
little bruise as a really good example of the coverage it gives, so I've tapped that on,
I obviously that needs to be blended but I can't see it, I'm gonna let it dry a little bit across
my face here, okay this is, this is very very nice, I tried it before at the launch and then
I thought oh god I've just got to save this for the gang and show them, it's worth 60 pounds,
if you want to spend money on a base this formula is incredible, it is um really lightweight,
you literally need a drop, I mean what a waste, now I've got to do the other side but I just
wanted to really show you the difference, so the point of this serum base foundation is that it
looks like skin, it doesn't look like foundation and that's the kind of you know holy grail for all
of us right, um I'm literally sort of massaging in this to my skin with my ring finger because
I mean it's blending so well, I've got a really really great um base because I've just put the
lovely moisturizer SPF on, um so it's slipping well on my skin, skincare is so important really
just to get that foundation, don't ever try and get your foundation to solve your skin issues,
now look that is pretty good on that little bruisy thing there, so I probably won't need any
concealer, what I'd probably like is a lighter shade of this but that's you know, I mean god
that would never run out would it, for around my orbital eye, orbital area to open up my eyes and
it feels so stretchy, I'm just going to very very very lightly soften it
just to give it a little bit of a buffing in and let's just see how
that adheres to the skin, it is not tight, it feels really really nice,
really nice, not too greasy as well because sometimes with serum foundations
um I'm just going to put this a little bit under my neck actually, so I've just taken it off my hand
and I'll just put that on my neck, I'm a little bit paler there, now what you have to be mindful of
is if you've got texture on your skin, so you've got open pores or fine lines like me, you want
to take anything that's too hydrating and you want to knock that back, oh on that point Laura Mercier
have just got these beautiful real flawless feather matte powders um and they really really
are um they have quite a good coverage, I think this is a bit too light, oh no good,
and but put on the skin I'm getting the nice mattification that I want,
I think that's a little bit light, no that's a bit better, so the two shades I've got here are
um three neutral and two warm, so yeah I'm probably like a three neutral,
that is super super nice, probably put a little bit of extra on that, I think I'll put a little bit
of double wear concealer over that, as you know I don't really perfect perfect my skin,
like most of you I sort of like it to be you know like perfected as much as it can be,
um but I just like it to be as sort of natural as it is, if you see pigmentation,
bits and bobs well so be it, it kind of gives character doesn't it, now because I've put that
concealer on I will take the little powder puff here and rather than using the um brush I need
to press that on and that's really key if you're covering anything, so if you've got rosacea or
you've got things that you want to get rid of, any kind of pimples, I'm just going to use the
clean side of the sponge to remove that makeup off my mole because it's really holding on tight,
um if you want to conceal something press, use a powder puff, don't use the brush because the
brush will lift that pigment and when you're trying to conceal something flat and make it
that is what you need to do, that is a good tip shared, I'm sure most of you do it all,
you're so good at your makeup, right let's um and I don't say that in a patronising way,
there is honestly there's so I guess there's so much information out there now isn't there,
people are so adept at doing their makeup much much more than they were years ago,
but sometimes for some people it's very hard because they can't see their faces, I totally
get that, I'm like that with clothes sometimes, I can't really see if I look better or not with
this outfit on or that outfit on, I just don't have that that sharp eye and the same is with
makeup, right I'm going to go in with my light medium beauty pie um super luminous, super luminous
under eye concealer, now I like this because I just in comparison to the lovely outside in,
that's a big difference and it's slightly pink here because I want to neutralise
and I just press with the warmth of my finger, you can see just by doing that one side and
lifting it around and taking it underneath the brow how already just with that difference in
colour, slight difference in texture, this is a little bit dewier I would say, I mean it really
does look so natural right, that's impressive and obviously it's packed with all the exceptional
skincare ingredients you would expect from a product like this, great so you can see already
how much better using that extremely light concealer has the effect to open out the eyes
and again just with the warmth of my finger, the pads of your fingers are such great tools
and it's really lovely for you to kind of connect with your face and your skin sort of like a soft
little massage in there, I think a lot of people tend to use sort of sponges and tools and it's a
real barrier, it's quite nice to kind of get in there and feel your face, okay right I have been
really loving the faux brow by L'Oreal, my shade is light brunette, really enjoying it
for the fact also that it's really, it lasts really well, it's obviously got the two little
prongs, we've used this what a couple of months ago, so the two prongs obviously twice as quick,
the colour is great but it's just really lasted well and that's obviously you know in a more humid
sweaty season, these sort of formulations are really put to the test, so this gets a massive
top tip and that is literally put on with such a delicate touch, I'm like I'm hardly even,
it gives a lot of product this, so you need to sort of like dance the brush, the delivery is
really good but if you're a bit heavy-handed or like unsure then you might overdo it and think
what the heck, this is too much, so just really dance that brush, just give myself a little bit
of structure there, good, okay so that's great for heated scenarios, now look at these really
beautiful palettes from Morph, so you've got your mattes, you've got a really beautiful metallic
inside and another, so it's like a sheen, so I like a highlighter, a metallic and a matte,
so I'm not going to go for that because that's too cool and cold, let's have a look at this one,
this could be good, that's going to be too light I think to get any definition,
that's an option, that's kind of like nice and soft, that'll work really well, that's a really
lovely kind of event, wedding type of look and that one, I'm going to go for this one,
okay so what shade is this, so this is Tulle Order, okay really, really lovely for this time
of year, before I do that I want to show you a few bronzers that I've been really loving
and talk about the texture, now I touched on that very lightly just earlier on, that I didn't really
want to have too much of that lovely serum around my top lip, so anywhere that you have larger pores
or areas that you don't want to be shiny, which is literally the t-zone area for face shaping,
but if you've got larger pores on the side of your face or regular skin texture, anywhere else,
just mattify it, it's lovely to use all these bronzing products but if you're too glossy and
too shiny you will just end up looking a little bit oily, there is a lovely product here,
it's called Radiant Glow Balm from Dr. Perricone, it is so beautiful, it's a bit like the
Jones Road, you kind of get that lovely kind of sheen to the skin but this, I don't know whether
it's because it's got more skincare involved, it's not sticky, I love some of the Jones Road
products, as you know I use them, I can't get on with that because I find it too sticky
and my hair sticks to it and I don't like the stickiness on my skin, as I've said a zillion
times before, I really love makeup to feel so beautiful, to not feel sticky or heavy or tight,
I like it just to feel really soft, so if you've got dry skin and you want a little bit of a glow
but not that kind of like real kind of like glass skin gloss, I'm going to put it into my nose there,
glad I saw that, this is really, really soft, it just comes with a black lid but Dr. Perricone,
I haven't used his products for actually, you know, quite a long time so yeah, really, really
loved using that and also if you've got and blessed with perfect skin, just a little bit of
with this, just a little bit of this with a firm brush, great, really, really nice,
if you go in with a fluffy brush it'll get all manky and it will bend and you won't get that
lovely finish, so that's a really lovely skin light and lovely for the evenings to kind of
give you that soft balmy look, again this is all very soft and natural, I know that you guys really
appreciate the the joy of makeup but it's not overdone, so I'm really paying attention to that,
I've got two products, the beautiful, beautiful bronzer from Sicily which I almost can't bear
to use, it's the Foto Touche Elusion d'Eye, it's the sun kiss powder gel which I used all last
year, I might use that but I don't want to be like banging on about the same stuff but
if you want a treat, Sicily just do such gorgeous products, that is a really lovely translucent
barely there bronzer, I'm not sure if I'm going to put that on yet, I'm not sure, maybe I'll go back to it
in a second, or Chocolate Orchid from the Fabulous Stealer, now you might think oh blimey
that is pushing it, probably is but we'll see, I quite like this because it's not as you would
think of bronze, it's got a lot, look at this for instance, it's a lot more ready, I quite like the
hint of red so I thought I'd try the hint of red first and I just I love these convertible colours,
they've been in my kit for so many years, one because it's great, because it's a great smash
and grab, oh that's nice isn't it, I was saying what's she talking about a great smash and grab,
when you've got a kit full of lots of products and you want to get that exact colour,
with the Stila blushes you can just see it straight away so you grab it, so it's like this
really soft warm burgundy which just kind of gives that warmth to the skin, so it's kind of like that
skin that's been in the sun all day with great protection but you've still kind of got like the
heat in your skin, and I've got the sunglasses mark as well, okay so obviously you want to blend
that very softly, oh another thing that came through was the Laura Mercier brightening powder
for underneath the eyes and they've got this in a really pale pink, I used to use this a lot,
I don't tend to use a lot of makeup underneath my eyes, the soft under eye setting powder
but I've forgotten how lovely it is, I've got the very soft pale pink
and just for a little set under the eyes because I don't want it to be too glossy all over like I
said, and I just want to give that little bit of softness to the eye area and it just feels so
lovely, it's a great way if you do find that you need more concealer under your eyes than I do for
instance and maybe you're using a bit of a colour corrector too or you find that your concealer
creases a lot, look at these powders again and yeah these are so, so beautiful, so I've used two
Laura Mercier powders actually now, funny isn't it how you just go through little phases of things,
so I'm really loving that, that is very, very soft but I can't help it, I'm gonna have to go
Okay so we're probably just going with a very soft brush first, I'm going to go with the rays
of the sun and I'm going to take that around the perimeter of my face, just around my hairline,
see how soft that is, see how translucent that is, oh she says and then she gets a big
smudge of pigment, love, love, love, so let me just do this under the cheekbone
so I've left that kind of beautiful hint of warmth over the bridge of my nose and the front
of my cheekbone but I've just given myself that shape with the Sicily bronzer but not taken it
across the front of my face which I love, I mean it's so good right, I mean obviously it's been
ridiculous because I haven't done my eyes yet but once I've done my eyes it'll all work together but
you know on this channel we all love soft elegant translucent shades that beautify your face
without looking overdone right because we all like the process of applying makeup otherwise
you wouldn't be here but actually you don't want to look, you don't want it to look heavy,
you want it to sort of almost be part of your skin. Okay so let's go in with the eyes,
now I'll start with the socket first, let's see, oh gosh that is quite pigmented,
okay so let's take that there, I need to spread that, okay let's lay that down,
nice shadows Morphe, gosh I didn't expect it to be so solid and dense which is obviously what you
want, I underestimated, good, so again wow I mean literally if you looked at me when I first
started the film my eyes looked so small didn't they, it's amazing what makeup can do. Now I do
this purposely just so you know, I try and keep the application as raw as possible so that you
can just see by laying it down not even with the right brush particularly because I thought it was
going to be softer than that and then you blend through but you've got to make sure that the
depth is in the socket to get that lift because I'm going to go with a light colour on my lid
but I don't want to bring that shadow any further than that okay, you've got to keep it just in that
centre, keeping it up, now it fades well actually and it blends really well as you can see,
that is really nice, so if you want more of a smouldery smokey eye you would take the
shadow all the way to the lid and right buffed up against your lashes but if you want something
that's a little bit bigger, sorry if you want your eyes to look bigger, go in in the socket
and sort of sweep underneath which I'll do in a minute, so just taking that down so it's blended
out really nicely actually because some eyeshadow pigments are dark when they go on, I'm going to
use my baby bud and then you can't really blend them out but this looks like it's going to be a
really nice sort of natural shadow underneath my eye so it won't even look like a liner or anything
I quite like that, sort of framing my eye without sort of looking like it's sort of made up because
you can make your eye look a lot smaller by putting a lot of colour underneath your eye but
if you use the shadow it's really soft and you give definition to your eye without closing it,
that will just give that lovely smoky effect but not too warm. People keep asking about my brushes
and I'm so sorry it was just a one-off with the company and we're not doing any more which is
such a shame because this baby bud is lovely but sorry we're not doing them anymore which is
a big shame. Right I've used my finger to go in because any kind of metallic shade you probably
need a little bit more oomph to match it now let's see what this shade does on the left so
we've got the metallic here but this is going to be a highlighter but I'm not sure how punchy this
is going to be so let's take a smaller brush like this take that off first see what happens here
oh so that's pink here do I want the pink I like a little bit of the pink but not too much
I'll just match it the other side I prefer the lighter colour for this particular look
so as I was saying if you're doing your makeup and you want this kind of lovely bronzy effect
I would almost avoid going in for these kind of like you know tones because then you've got the
bronze on your skin and then you've got the bronze on your eye maybe you've gone in for a brown liner
as well and you end up sort of with the colours all meh-mering together and it kind of gives a
lovely pop and freshness to your skin if you balance it like I've done with a little bit of a
it's more of a cooler tone well it is a cooler tone um and I in my opinion it just kind of makes
it look a little bit fresher you can do what the heck you want obviously and this is you know
metallic it's sheeny it's it's kind of fun you could just do like a very soft brown eyeliner and
mascara and off you go but this is the look we're doing today I just thought they were really fun
these eyeshadows now obviously you can use a mixing medium as well if you want these to be
stronger but I don't want that for this look I'm gonna go in now because you can see as I tip my
chin up that depth of socket has gone slightly and that depth of socket was what was giving me
that lovely kind of like wide-eyed look great okay good very exciting new mascara
Dior have some really beautiful products in fact there's a lovely pinky gloss that I might add to
my face as well just really not to kind of over complicate this look because I hate that um but
just to kind of show you new things really let's do a little bit of eyelash curling
but this packaging is so so gorgeous I just love Dior products and I've got another beautiful blush
here they're doing such nice things well Peter Phillips is obviously amazing right and I've
curled them I always just do a little bit of a wooshy move around with the finger so it doesn't
look too set right look at this it's a lovely waisted as I mean the wand has a slight indent
to it which gives real lovely lift this is not thick whoo lash they're really delicate and soft
and that's what I wanted for this look I think if I put on my normal kind of like layers and
layers of mascara which looked great you know against the sort of fresh skin it would have
been too much and I wanted to show you this mascara so luckily it did work with a look
so I'm just going to bring the mascara on those sort of outer third lashes right I don't want
too much mascara but I want a bit of something a bit of lift on the outside there oh I just love
second coat of mascara it just ticks all the boxes how beautiful is that lovely really great
deposit of mascara and it's almost just like using a comb to drag it through for this very
feminine finish and divine packaging right I'm gonna keep my eyes like that for now
okay so next we've got katie jane hughes I love this liner it's called a prism liner
prism lip crayon and this shade is illusion now see why you think this is slightly different
to what I would normally use on my lip so can you see it's slightly metallic and I love it because
it gives a real beautiful shape to my lips uh I'm just gonna do it a little bit like that
a little bit like that edging as far as I can get
before it goes a bit for me god just love it blend it blend it and I've just been doing this
really softly I love the finish of it it's so cool katie I flipping love this then I might use
um the dr sam lip I have been using I went out last night actually and I combined it with the
01 dr sam which I loved I think they might be a bit too ready with the cheek so instead I think
I'm going to go for the new maca lip balm from tatcha now oh my gosh these are so silky and
gorgeous I love everything I think there's one product from tatcha I don't adore um I love the
fact that this is so soft to apply it's such a such a lovely applicator I'd only put I don't
put too much on because I don't want it to like slip around and all mess I still want to have
that lovely um shape around my mouth but I just this is my lip I'm loving this lip at the moment
right so I could go like a little bit more bronzy I could might just add a little bit more just to
touch just to touch here and I'm going to bring blending that in yeah so I use the bronze to
define the bottom of my cheekbones almost like a very soft contour but I think I can bring it in
a little bit more just to balance out now because the eyes are stronger and the lips but not too
much it's still nice it's got that hint of red because it kind of balances with a hint of red
with in the lip very softly it's almost like a warmth rather than a red now I was going to use
even maybe like a little bit of pinky blush to lift it um Dior do have another highlighter which
they are so good oh here it is it's like the perfect oh look at this oh my god it's ginormous
look at this beautiful peach but it's not gonna go it's gonna but should I just try
should I just try or just try okay I can tell you already no it's not gonna go because the pink in
my um let's get rid of that the reason why I don't like that with this just to you to understand
is that I've got that soft um shell pink in my eye and to put the pink on my cheek is then going to
make and bring more attention to that and I don't want that um I want just to have the lovely bronzy
skin so I'll go a little bit of um the Stila chocolate just to add that warmth and then balance
it back with a little bit this is me and there you go I hope that that has given you a little bit of
summer sunshine makeup inspiration um and yeah let me know what you think oh another oh god just one
last tip before you go one last tip before you go I wanted to share some great tints um this is
Revolution Superdew Skin Tint which is absolutely brilliant if you're looking for something that
isn't 61 pounds um it's SPF 30 and it's mineral and it's really really lovely um so I tried that all
last week was delighted with it and I also use the Naked Sundays SPF 50 um in shade 4 and that's
a really lovely skin tint I just wanted to show you something to compare with the um lovely Outside
In Serum Foundation you know yin and yang anyway guys um let me know your thoughts and feedback
and this might be the last one for the summer I think so I'm probably gonna be back in September
um I'll see how things go if I can edge another one out I will but if I don't pop up again I'll
be seeing you back in September thank you so much for all your love and support for this part of the
year and I'll see you back in the new term lots of love bye
