Created in collaboration with Kyoto-based woodblock master Kenji Takenaka, a fifth-generation printmaker who introduced me to the craft. Together with his team, more than 30 individual woodblocks were carved to produce this edition. Each print is inked by hand, with every color applied through a separate woodblock impression.

This weird idea turned into one of my favorite videos yet, and a life-changing experience! In preparation for this video, I read 'Van Gogh: A Life in Letters', a collection of the letters Vincent wrote throughout his remarkable 10-year artistic career. This video follows the key chapters of his life while serving as my own introduction to the worlds of oil paint and plein air painting.
