Happy Monday y'all. It is a week after Stitch Tour, our first stop. I just got this butter yellow, I know, shocker, um J.Crew, like their sweaters that they're so known for. The problem is I'm about to go rush out the door to be on a podcast and I just feel like this might be like a lot of boob for sit, like I just, I don't know. We'll have to see. It is 90 degrees out but like it's always cold in studios. Anyway, welcome back to another week in my life. This week we have a lot going on. I am going to put some lip products on. I just door-dashed breakfast because I'm in such a rush. I worked out this morning. We just launched a pre-order for a bunch of canvases and now I'm running at the door because I'm recording for Jordan Sparks podcast, which is so cool. If you would have told my younger self that I was going to be recording for Jordan Sparks podcast, I would have literally like died. Actually, I just would have died. So many of my like memories growing up with my siblings and my cousins who are like in this one specific neighborhood listening to Jordan Sparks. I say one specific neighborhood because he moved like 17 times but anyway. Here's what I'm wearing. My shirt is very wrinkly as it always is and then um I love these jeans. They're the most comfortable jeans ever and they're so flattering. I wish that I had them in like not a wide leg but they're so good. So anyway, I'm off. I also like didn't do foundation because it's so hot here and it's like it would look bad and I actually really like how it turned out my makeup with no foundation. So amazing. Alright y'all, just finished recording with Jordan. It was so amazing. That's one of the best things about podcasting is you get to meet all these different people who just like inspire you and are the best and you have the best conversations and I just love her. She's coming on my show this week too so I will see her on Wednesday but I'm heading home. I have some meetings and stuff. I need to send over some things for the weekend and I just I've got to get my life together honestly. Good morning guys. It is now Tuesday. I need to stop. Sorry. First off, I have a self-tan on so I look a little crazy. I just put it on. I had a couple hours so I showered off. I also just need to stop even attempting to vlog on Mondays because it's just not gonna happen. I just get a ton of work done and like nothing that I could film. I'm just like sitting on my computer aside from that recording yesterday. So anyway, today is Tuesday. We have a lot of friend of mine meetings and some house guest meetings because of the pod refresh which is really exciting. We're also, I had a really exciting meeting yesterday. We're finally going to be able to offer house guest video on both Spotify and Apple Podcasts which I've been wanting to do for so long especially with our new like refresh. I am really excited to like offer that because a lot of it's gonna be like a video forward show you know so that'll be good and we've got some exciting samples coming today. Lots of things happening. So Charlie and I are about to move this new rug that I got from Lumen Co. It's a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful rug. We need to move it to the dining room because the video team sets up in the dining room so I'd rather just like be done before they get here tomorrow. Oh guys, Meredith Hall who is like my favorite TikTok girl. She's like my favorite friend that I've made on TikTok. She is the sweetest girl ever. If you guys don't watch her whips and stuff, she's just the best. Like she truly is the best. She asked me for my address to send us a gift and guys I started opening it and I was like okay I need to stop because I really want to film my reaction to this. I mean, this girl is literally everything. I'm sorry I know it's so loud outside. I need to show you guys this before I get on some call. So Meredith Hall, like I was saying, is just my favorite. Like one of my favorite people. An amazing follow and she just is like such an incredible girl. Like she truly is. And her mother, oh my god, don't even get me started on her mom. She's an icon. Anyway, she asked to send us an engagement gift and I totally forgot that we had even talked about this and then I saw the package from her. There was like a bunch of boxes here because we have a lot of like product that has come. So I haven't, it could have been here for like a week and I just thought it was product. So I saw it this morning and I was like oh I can't wait. And guys, look, I am dying at this. Like how thoughtful and sweet Martha Stewart Weddings. I mean like guys, seriously this is everything. It's so sweet and then that's not it, okay? She got me an icon glass, which are my favorite. I'm literally, guys, by the way, I'm actually drinking up another one that she got me at the Charleston like meetup thing that we did. Guys, I'm gonna go through this very quickly. She got us a pea crest. Also, we talked about my initials not having to change, like iconic meant to be. The engagement ring, icon glass, which is just the cutest thing ever and like the sweetest stuff that I'm obviously not gonna share. But guys, like actually I am obsessed with that girl. Like she is everything to me. She's the whip Wednesday girl. You know the whip, the whip Wednesday. Oh my god, she is everything to me. Everything. I love her. All right, so now it is finally time to set up our new rug from Lumen Co. Guys, this rug, so beautiful for the dining room. Oh my god, we've needed a rug in this space for so long. It actually matches really well with the couch, which is really convenient. I don't, this tablecloth, I'm wanting to like move to something else. Also, guys, okay, so I got this as a gift for Harrison. I always get my custom needle points from a CC needlepoint and he's like obsessed with his Apple TV. If you guys follow Harrison, you would know this and I was like he just needs an Apple TV canvas. So I had this made. How funny is that? In the long run, the plan is like first off, this table is too high in the legs. I know I've said this before, but he's doing the middle so I can put it over there a little bit. In a dream world, after I do like my primary bedroom, complete restyling, like I want like everything wallpaper and I want matching fabrics to the headboard, to the bedding, to the curtains, to everything. Um, once I find someone and I mean, I can't do that for a long time, but I need like an upholsterer or something and I want to get like a custom dining bench made here. I'll switch out the table and then I'll probably keep these. I know there's that, um, what is it called? The one in Arlington that's like the like headboard world or something, headboard dream. I don't know why I'm forgetting the name, but it's like the most popular one. It's like the best one that everyone's talking about. I look, I'm dying how I'm just like speaking to you guys and trying to stay in the work. Thanks, Charlie. Um, anyway, I was looking at their stuff and like that is like my dream stuff. So eventually, yeah, I do want to add a tablecloth for sure. Yeah, because this is just like two by whatever. Um, eventually that will all happen, but like I can't do this all at once. So that is the plan right now. I think I'm gonna do a blue and white stripe for the fourth. Also guys, Myga needle pointed this like two years ago. I got her this canvas from needlepoint.com and look at the pattern on the back. It's so cute, but she always like planned on using it in her home and then she just came over and gave it to me one day. Everyone is really donating to the cause. The cause being my couch that I'm going to have covered in needlepoint pillows and I truly cannot wait. I have one ready to go. I'm going to finish like hopefully I'll have, my goal is to have like three ready to be finished by like end of July. We'll see. Cause I got one. So that's good. But once they're all just like stacked up and piled, my whole house is just nothing but needlepoint pillows. Like what a dream truly. So anyway, um, I've got to get, Oh, by the way, house guest book club. If you guys are not familiar, we're bringing back house guest book club for good final. This is what it is. I have the formatting. We're good. We're done every six weeks. You and I, the house guests who are my podcast listeners are going to read a book together. And then at the end of that six weeks, I recap it on the podcast and I recap it with the author. So I interviewed the author, which will be great. Our first guest is Ellen Hildebrand, my queen, my Nantucket queen. She's actually who made us go to Nantucket to begin with. Like I read all of her books and I was like, I need to come here now. It's my favorite place in the entire world. And it is like truly changed my life. I just love it there so much. So anyways, the first book club pick is Ellen Hildebrand five-star weekend. The second one, you guys are going to die because it is a book that everyone is loving. I'll give you a hint. It's romance. It's not yesteryear. I did start yesteryear this week though. I finished four wins a couple of nights ago. Really loved it. It wasn't my favorite Chris and Hannah book ever. Like I'm still a woman or die girl. Like that's really it for me. But I finished four wins and I feel like the last like 30% really picked up and I really ended up liking it just for some reason that took me forever to read. I guess like I've been out of my reading game, but now I'm reading yesteryear. I'm like 20% in and it's really great so far. So anyway, now I've got to get back to it. Um, oh, I guess I should show you guys final. This looks so much better. Oh my God. The rug really has changed the game. Wow. Guys, what a crazy day today has been, but it is time to go pick out some outfits for the podcast. You and I should have a little catch up on what is to come for house guests as well. So house guest has always been like a video forward show, but now more than ever, it is like very, very video for it. Also the pool is looking way better. Thank God. Anyway, um, I did a little refresh as y'all would have seen by now. The branding is just more elevated. It's more mature. It's like representing just like stepping into a new chapter of my life. Also investing even more in it to the show. I know I mentioned book club already, but we're doing things like book club. People are coming over. We're going to have segments that aren't just like sitting on the couches. The new set is amazing. The set is like, you know, my entry room, but like set still, um, traveling more bigger guests. Like I'm just really investing like all of my time and energy into house guests that isn't in the front of mine. And I'm also like hiring out more stuff and like, it's just all coming together. But the mission, I feel like my mission online is to like help girls find like peace and confidence through friend of mine. It's through like hobbies. And then from really at the end of the day, it's about bringing people together. Right. And with friend of mine, it's like bringing people together on hobbies with house guests. It's like bringing people together with conversation. Um, and it always, of course goes back to the hobbies. But anyway, we have been working on this for a couple of months. I love how everything turned out and I'm really excited. Um, we are, this is nothing crazy, but we're adding to the show. Like every single week I'll do more of like a real time intro. So it doesn't feel as bad. That was one thing that I like hated about batching when I have to, because transparently it's just like you, it's easier to make it happen. And also it's really expensive to hire these teams. So if I'm able to shoot four in a day, I want to get four in a day done versus shooting once a week. Cause then I would never be able to afford that. Even though I would love to be able to do that with the team that we use, it's just like too expensive. And like, it doesn't make sense. It doesn't even really work with scheduling either. Anyway, I will be doing intros that are closer to that time. And maybe I'll have like friends in the intro. I'll have someone like come in and say hello or whatever. So that'll be fun. Um, and then also we're going to add at the end of every episode, I'm workshopping the name. So we'll like ask a friend of mine, a friend, like something, some sort of like advice, like someone sends in like a crazy story or whatever. And I'll pull whatever, like make sense of that episode and we'll like recap it at the end and that'll be sponsored by a friend of mine. So you guys will get like a discount code and everything. Um, always for that one. So that's going to be really exciting. Book club is back consistently. Um, really, really great guests. I want guests over the age of 80, as you guys know, always. And I have some people that are really exciting that I'm going to do. Um, my dream guests are as always Martha, Ina, Kelly Bishop would love Bell Burden is not in that like age bracket, but like I would love Bell Burden. This has nothing to do with age. Just like genuinely would die for Hayden Panettiere. These were like massive, massive names, but we will get there. Like I'm going to get there. And I'm really, really excited. And I think you guys are going to love the new show. I just feel like refreshed and re-energized and like just in a really good space. And I have like a very clear vision. It's like a show that you guys come to and it's like comforting, but you also leave feeling refreshed. It's just like good. So anyways, tomorrow I'm recording four episodes. Then I'm also doing like some intros, ads, updated, like, Hey, welcome to my channel, subscribe, like things like that. So I need to get my stuff. Also guys, posse, which I love their stuff. This happens during the, um, tour. So like in the last vlog, guys, this is the buttons. Like how did that happen? They just came unraveled. This is so expensive. Like, and now it's just ruined. So I'm like, maybe I can just get all that stuff off and make the buttons still work. So crazy though. Anyway, I loved it. I got to wear it twice. So that's unfortunate. Anyway, um, this is the outfit that I'm thinking about wearing or where's that jacket? Maybe I'm not thinking about wearing it guys. Maybe I'm not. Oh, here it is. Okay. This is giving like wedding planner. I'm recording with my wedding planner tomorrow in this has to be the look obviously. So this is good. Outfit number one. Okay. Then I'm recording and Oh God, there's just so much happening here. Truly. I'm like, what do I even wear? I haven't worn this on the podcast yet. I wore this to tour. How amazing is this? Like I'm obsessed with this. So I'm definitely gonna wear this for something. Um, okay. This is probably kind of boring to you guys. So like watch me like style in this closet. So we will chat in like two seconds. Y'all this is like peak piece audio book on styling outfit once a few years earlier. Okay. So I've pulled some stuff and now I feel like I have a new closet since I actually have my stuff ready. So I have some outfits for all the intros and actual recordings and stuff, which are good. I just got this like polka dot dress from reformation that I'm loving. So this is perfect. Okay. Y'all it's much later. I think it's like 9 PM and I'm finishing up. I'm finishing up prep for tomorrow's recording day. Guys, the prep that I've been doing for these episodes, like you guys are not ready for where Haskast is heading. Okay. But I have 25 cards for four episodes, color coordinated. They're looking stunning. They're looking perfect. This is going to be the dream show. Like my dream shows everything that I've wanted we're doing. We don't really need a paper clip anyway. I just thought that could be nice, but I don't have that many big ones. So I think we're just going to keep it like this. Anyway, I just packed up some gifts for my guests tomorrow, and then I'm getting started on some notes. I need to write thank you notes for all the girls from Mimi's who helped us the past week. They're such sweet girls and I want to say thank you to each of them. And then I also need to write thank you notes for my guests tomorrow. I am getting on my thank you note grind. Like I am back and we are better. There are two people who gave Charlie and I gifts and we also like for our engagement and also like there are people there that we didn't know. And like there were no cards. There was no from who like, and it haunts me to this day that we have not said thank you, but I do not know what to do because like no one has shown, like we don't know. Like we literally have no idea who it was. So that just gives me anxiety and keeps me up all night. Um, oh, anyway, I am going to get to this. I just had this custom stationery made forever ago and it says with love from Texas. Macy actually got me really cute, like Kinsey Palma stationery that I'm going to use like more personally. This is obviously professionally. So anyway, I need to get to this. I also need to give myself a blowout and my favorite podcasters, Morgan Stewart and Sarah Foster, I did a podcast together. So I need to go listen to that while I give myself a blowout. If you guys are interested in how I looked at my hair, it was in the last vlog. Um, and I also have like a shop my page with like all the products and stuff linked, but anyway, I need to finish this. Good morning, my beautiful angels. It is now Thursday. Yesterday was the first day shooting house guests with the new look, the new vibe. And I am really, really excited for it. I feel really good. I didn't film any of this stuff, but now I'm back to vlogging like tonight guys. Okay. I'm bad this week, but, um, I didn't really film much, but the organization and prep that I did, like guys, it is a new level and just like everything over here. Oh my God. So much better. Everyone here who like works on the show was like, oh yeah, this is the vibe. Like this is perfect. So anyways, it's eight 30. I was so tired last night. I fell asleep like with my phone in my hand at like seven 45. So I woke up, I did up canceling my workout today. I just needed sleep. And now we're going to get some work done. And then today we are shooting a very exciting collaboration. As you guys are watching this on Sunday, we're announcing it tomorrow. So I will give you guys just like a little, well, you guys can get some like little Easter eggs and little hints and stuff here. Um, but it's going to be so good. Like, I'm so excited. You guys are going to literally die. Like you will die. So anyways, I live in this daily drill set. Like I wear it literally all the time. Also we have my five-star weekend, Ellen Hildebrand girl love. I want to start like shooting stuff better for the podcast. And I really want to get like a house guest sticker. Um, I actually might bring this to the shoot just to get like a, an overhead shot really quickly. And then maybe we'll just like Photoshop the sticker on until I receive those in the mail. Cause I already have the icon for it. I just haven't received them. Um, but yeah, I'm really excited and we need to get some work done today. And then I need to shoot this beautiful, perfect room. She's everything and really just get going. I'm in my overalls. Y'all know what that means. We're off to see the garden. Charlie has really taken over the garden in the past like month or so. So he's going to show me everything because we've been getting so many cucumbers. We got a squash that plant did die immediately, but we do have lots of updates. So I'm excited to see this. And then I need to get ready really quickly because I have a shoot. Okay. So the actual grounds looking a little crazy, but Oh my gosh, we've got some tomatoes. We need to pull some of the dead stuff, but wow. Oh, Oh wow. Did you see that someone got in? We'll cut that part out. No, we're not going to eat that. Okay. That is, that is insane. That is crazy. Um, okay. Massive, by the way. Wow. Charlie, I think you need to be watering a lot more than you think though. No, I have been lately. Okay. Like you are the root like, yeah, no, I don't. I've changed it up. Wow. A cucumber. You saw this like a week ago. Yeah, it does. I did. It looks a lot better now. We just need to, we need to cut some things. I'll do that tonight. Um, this stuff is growing, which is good. Yeah. That's kind of killing me. Amazing. Amazing. This guy's still suffering a little bit. Yeah. That's weeds. We can get rid of that. Yeah. Kale. Wow. They're really popping up here. Oh my God. That's amazing. Wait, that looks great. Okay. Good. Wow. Charlie, you're really killing it. It actually feels like amazing outside today, which is rare for this time of year. Um, the ground out here, I need to get it even. Charlie, you're gonna have to poncho about it because he's going to fix it. I also just need to remove all these before. Like honestly, if I just pick all these up and then, and then put down, um, gravel again, we can do it. Well, the way that they made it, they put these down and they put gravel around it. That's how they made it level. So I don't exactly know how that's going to work, but anyway. Wow. Look, we need to clean this up and stuff, but things are coming along. That is exciting. All right, y'all. I just arrived to the shoots. Um, today's actually been a very productive day, so I'm feeling great. I am shooting like one collection collaboration today, and then I brought stuff for her to shoot the next, like four collections basically of just like things that we need done. One thing that I need for house guests, and it's going to be very, very productive and good. And then after that, I need to go get some stuff for a ghost and then I have dinner with friends. So, and I need to mail it over. So anyway, also we just revealed the Christmas collection. That's really exciting for this week. That's launching. Um, I'm so happy about this. Okay. I think that was maybe my favorite shoot that we've done. They just are getting better and better. I also have like such a specific vision with what I want our feed and everything to look like. I want every photo to be like a very obviously friend of mine photo. The problem is that we just don't have the resources right now. And we, it just, it's a lot. We're doing a lot at all at once. So once we get to like a better place and we have that, then I think we're going to be able to do it. I was kind of like working in a little, little mood board, but anyway, I'm going to go get some stuff for a ghost stitcher and maybe something. I don't really need anything for myself. I am bringing something. We will see. And I'm stopping into Mimi's because I'm giving thank you notes to all the girls who worked the pop-up and also like taping and pre-stuff or whatever. I am really like, I'm fully an adult now because I'm doing thank you cards for every single thing. You come to a dinner party, you get a thank you card. You come to anything, you get a thank you card. Like I have written probably 20 plus thank you cards this week alone. This is my new thing. Chic. Friend of mine should come out with greeting cards actually, which I don't know. I'm acting like we've never thought about that before with the way that I responded, but I was not thinking about it in the way of this. Now that I'm doing this all the time, um, we need more stationary in that way. I agree. So anyway, we're going to Mimi's. All right, y'all, I'm in the middle of packing. This closet is a little bit crazy. This weekend has been something. Um, this is what we have. So here we have wedding venue touring outfits, which I'm bummed out. Of course I waited until the very last minute to try on the dress that I got from Reformation thinking I was going to love it and I don't. I don't really love any of my outfits and I'm like, I know it's like so dumb, which like obviously is not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, but I was wanting to like really serve some bridal looks. Then I have Charleston looks and then I have Nashville looks and where am I? I guess my Savannah is that, I don't know. I have organized everything down to like two outfits a day. And then I also have like morning stuff and comfy stuff and then pajamas. Um, I'm going to try to make everything work in just one suitcase. We are going to Charleston, Savannah to tour venues and then we're going to Nashville for our stitch tour pop-up this weekend. So it's a big week. I'm excited. I'm packing my favorite shoes. Love these. These are Chanel. These are Margo and like they are so comfortable. Oh my God. I'm obsessed with them. I have these from LPA. Guys, it's actually really hard. I'm getting like white accessories and it's hard to style. I'm having a hard time styling white accessories. I'm not doing a great job with it. I'm like, I feel like, I don't know. Okay. There is another suitcase in here. Okay. Makes sense. I might actually even use pocket cubes for once just per city so that I have everything together. I'm listening to five-star weekend as an audio book. It's free on Spotify and that's our like book club pick for house guests this next like coming six weeks. And first off, I love the book when I read it. And now that I'm listening to it, I just love it. Like it is so good. It's such a good listen. I wish I would have filmed myself with a reformation dress, like showing you guys just like a little see-through. We'll have to see. And I'm also like, I think I'm just trying to force my white bag a little bit too much. And it's just, it may be just like, isn't the right. It's not the right time. You know, maybe I just need a good pair of like white shoes that match with it better. You know what I mean? Anyway, these are issues that like are not issues, but I need to get to packing. So I'm back to listening. I'm already 30% of the way in through the audio book. So good. All right. And we are pretty much ready to go. My hair is disgusting, but I'm waiting until tomorrow to like give myself a fresh blot at 5 a.m. before this flight. And then we are off. The next vlog is going to be our very first installment of the wedding planning vlogs, which are going to be so fun. I'm so excited about this. Oh my gosh. We need an intro for them.
