An independent musician, he was tired of everything being about money, and wanted to live in a place where he could focus on his passions and also have good food, apartment, healthcare, and welcoming community. After watching some of American Living Abroad's YouTube videos, he moved to Vietnam to the quiet outskirts of Da Nang, where he pays $247/month rent and now feels more free to be creative with his music, and meet up with Vietnamese and expat friends.
