☀️🎨 A sketchbook, a bus ride, and a perfect summer afternoon.
For this time's en plein air class, we took the bus to Rideout Fountain in Golden Gate Park. Before settling in to draw, we made a quick (and very important 😄) stop for boba to stay hydrated.

Our challenge for this day was to complete 10 quick sketches while observing the fountain, trees, people, and changing light around us. Some sketches turned out great, some were just practice—and that's exactly what sketching is all about.
There's something special about drawing outside. You notice details you would normally walk past, slow down for a while, and enjoy the summer with friends who love making art.
