How to Cook a Ribeye Steak Reverse Seared in an Offset Smoker

If you don't have an offset smoker, you can still follow the same temperature guides and use another style of BBQ, or use this method in oven and then pan to sear also.
There's many different ways to cook a ribeye steak, however for a thick steak I like to reverse sear. I absolutely love chimichurri with steak too, here's the recipe I used in this video:
1/4 cup parsley
3 cloves garlic
1/2 red chilli
1/4 cup olive oil
1tbs red wine vinegar
Pinch of salt, pepper and oregano

AI GeneratedThis video demonstrates how to reverse sear a thick ribeye steak using an offset smoker. The process involves smoking the meat at a low temperature until it reaches a specific internal temperature, resting it to preserve juices, and finishing with a high-heat sear for a perfect crust, complemented by a homemade chimichurri sauce.
