USA 🇺🇸 vs. Türkiye 🇹🇷 - Highlights | Week 3 | Women's VNL 2026

United States of America in white receiving for this ACN Volleyball Nations League here in Osaka, Japan and it will be a break point start for Turquier with the unforced error. Paladine will serve again. Skinner what a hit and there's the freshness you were talking about right out of the gate so springy. It's not bad and the set is great the swing even better and it is Turquier who take the opener here 25-22. See the middles get going yes we'd love to see a little bit of fancy footwork from the setters but really by and large it's her who is the engine they get her the ball as much as possible high and wide and she can do whatever she wants we've seen her go sharp cross all day long now she's going down the line because USA have adjusted that's what she does so well that Holter with the serve Turquier leading one set to nothing good reach from Paladine can go as soon as that first step's taken she can get there get herself in a decent position that's made rotation one now not as difficult with rotation as it used to be but it's still Turquier who get the break point the ball oh what a block that is Thompson felt sure she was going to get the point but Turquier have leveled up and USA call their second time out placed in a really good spot but it doesn't matter Rettke gets a swing USA have the point they take the set 25-23 and we're all tied up at one set all set three underway Turquier with the serve it's on as even at the moment good luck stopping that four players in the way of that Paladine has she got fingers no will there be a challenge coming no Holter somehow that's a block Paladine shutting down O'Neill Turquier with a two-point advantage and finally a break point we've been going point for point for what seems like 10 minutes now oh it's close closer than I thought actually yeah it's going to be a challenge here for reaching beyond the net have you gone too early is it broken the plane of the net broken the plane of the net she's more than entitled to play that in fact Uzbai has broken the plane of the net and reaching beyond it so the challenge is successful saves it and now it's a two-point set is there anyone anywhere else that you're going on set point for your opponent if you're Turquier but to around her libero just comes out of Thompson on 10. the right outcome so now you can see there is no touch with that view and that's what Urge was looking for that was what she wanted the first time round was to show can we see it from behind it is set point for Turquier oh no overpassed and it is as quick as that Balladin puts the ball down Turquier take the set 29-27 and they lead by two sets to one the real challenge for this team whether they can come back from it one lapse in concentration suddenly the ball is overpassed off of a float and that short serve has been causing havoc to USA all night long and it's not a particularly difficult serve as coach was alluding to earlier on it's you know with the serve Turquier leading two sets to one still able to find a point that's a great angle from Eggleston once the surface pressure goes down a little bit passing gets better and that's all part of it a chance here for the USA but the block is resolute against the attempted tip from Skinner they remember that one from late in that third monster block from the USA being called by Turquier and she has to tad too far in front for the swing and Rekki was all over it that's an excellent choice by Rekki watch her arms dive into the direction that Nguyen was the net chance here now Skinner for the set oh that's got me two touches off of Ganesh it is two touches off of Ganesh it is the end of the set USA take it 25-21 now back in the match we are going to five and away we go this set number five was by keeping her place on court for Turquier Thompson finds that sideline hit Thompson or maybe that was the cue before the start of this fifth set two of the best in the world 100 you're going to use them Vargas again but this time it stays in play oh Vargas again oh and it's a massive block a monster from Rekki and the lead for the USA with a break point and here's the only problem is when Vargas gets that a little bit too nice pass that's such a good pull over as well also keeps it off the floor worth a rip and taken excellent play by Skinner and Turquier are going to challenge though whether the ball hit the floor or not this is Boss Jr oh that's not just a pancake that's a stack of pancakes with a bit of maple syrup the number one opportunity is Vargas that's a big four of those points just handed over by Turquier they won't mind that the USA a side out achieved Skinner with the serve Vargas oh that's a touch from Poulter it's going to stay in play but another opportunity for Turquier is that up hence has got a hand under it but Washington cuts oh my god fancy that and that's why Thompson against Ballardine wraps it all up it is all over the USA take the set 15-8 and they have beaten Turquier by three sets to two
