African Penguins are in serious trouble. Over the past century, their population has plummeted due to various human-related causes. This year, Steph's team flew to South Africa to document an international effort to save the last 1% of their population before they go extinct. In this presentation, Stephanie will highlight the development and deployment of artificial nests that are already making a big difference in their population. She'll challenge student's critical thinking skills, promotes environmental stewardship, and inspires audiences with a successful conservation story involving experts across the STEM fields.
