AI GeneratedCassie Coppersmith introduces her new channel, \"Secrets in Stone,\" dedicated to exploring ancient megalithic sites and questioning mainstream historical narratives. Drawing from her background in finance and her travels to Egypt and beyond, she seeks to investigate the precision of ancient architecture and the possibility of a forgotten, advanced human past.
What if the history we learned in school is only half of the story?
I'm Cassie Coppersmith and welcome to Secrets in Stone. I'm here today to introduce myself
in this channel. I'm a Colorado mountain dweller and adventure seeker with a background in finance
and economics. My career taught me to research deeply and simplify complex ideas, skills I
now use to explore ancient history. After many years working in corporate America,
everything changed for me on a trip to Egypt a few years ago.
Seeing the Valley Temple and Karnak with these massive granite blocks and stone artifacts with
impossible precision, I began to realize what I was looking at was difficult to explain using
the information I had learned in school. I couldn't help but wonder, how did they build
something so massive, so complex, and so perfect? And more importantly, why? That moment sparked
a bit of an obsession for me. I dove down the rabbit hole, visiting sites in Peru, Bolivia,
England, Cambodia, and more, researching endlessly to try to understand our past.
On Secrets in Stone, we'll explore these incredible places. Some I've visited,
others we'll research together. Each episode, I'll share photos, dive into the history,
and tackle the big questions. What do these sites reveal about our forgotten past?
I'm inspired by and want to acknowledge the researchers who have come before me,
and who have taught me so much. Graham Hancock, of course, Ben at Uncharted X, Cliff at Earth
Ancients, Hugh at Megalithomania, and a special shout out to Derek Olson at Megalithic Marbles.
My guest appearance on his show earlier this year inspired me to start this channel.
The history we're taught says that we emerged from caves, hunted and gathered, planted crops,
and ultimately developed monuments, slowly reaching our pinnacle today. This story is
easy to accept if you don't think about it too hard. It's also comfortable. We were never as
advanced as we are today. Things today are better now than they were in the past. But what if there's
more to the story? What if there's a different explanation for the ancient technology we see
at these sites, for the similarities we see all over the globe, and for the astronomical alignments
we observe? The reason I'm starting this channel is to explore these questions, to see what these
ancient places can teach us about our past and who we are today. What was the motivation behind
the building of these sites? Were they built to harness energy, to elevate consciousness?
It is a natural human desire to explore these kinds of questions. As my favorite mythologist
and storyteller Martin Shaw says, it's important to be a great rememberer. It's been something
we've been doing since the dawn of time. I don't have an agenda with this channel, and I definitely
don't have the answers. But I believe that exploring questions, exploring these incredible places,
and being open to what is revealed is valuable and important. Creating this channel feels like
coming full circle for me. I'm so excited to share what I've learned so far, to keep exploring the
incredible mystery of our shared human history, and hopefully inspire others to explore these
mysteries and sites for themselves. I also want to get to know you, my audience, my community.
Please leave me a comment and let me know which ancient sites would you like to explore first?
