The GoBusters face a crisis as the villain Maxi attempts to be reborn using symbolic cards. The team must recover these cards while dealing with the arrival of Megazords and a new Metroid, Puppet Drive, which can control humans. The conflict peaks when Jin is manipulated into fighting his own teammates, forcing Hiromu to use their emotional bond to break the control and reunite the team to defeat the enemy.
