This Chinese actress is one of the most internationally recognizable particularly for having starred in “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” alongside Michelle Yeoh. Like Yeoh, Zhang Ziyi also has a background in dance allowing her to handle complex fight choreography in martial arts themed films including her first Hollywood film, “Rush Hour 2”, “The Grandmaster”, and various wuxia movies such as “House of Flying Dragons” and “Hero” which also featured Jet Li and Donnie Yen. But beyond martial arts cinema, Ziyi is known for her acting talent in dramas like “2046”, “Memoirs of a Geisha”, and recently “The Cloverfield Paradox”. She even voiced the character Karai in the 2007 animated “TMNT” film. Her roles have garnered her multiple awards including BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress.
