I Found a Hidden Valley in Northern Pakistan | Solo Female Bike Adventure

I set off on a solo motorcycle adventure to find Bilamik, a hidden valley deep in the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.

The problem? Almost everyone I spoke to told me not to take the road.

With sketchy mountain roads, loose gravel, endless rocks, and a motorcycle that seemed determined to break down at every possible moment, reaching Bilamik turned into a much bigger adventure than I had expected.

The plan was simple: survive the ride, discover whether Bilamik really was the hidden paradise people claimed it to be, and spend the night wild camping alone high in the mountains. But as always, Pakistan had other plans.

Despite everything going wrong, I was once again reminded why I keep coming back to this amazing country - not just for the landscapes, but for the kindness of the people you meet along the way.
