A Peruvian appeals court has restored the authority of the transport regulator, OSITRAN, over the Chinese-owned Chancay Port. This ruling reverses a previous decision that had limited state supervision, confirming that the port is public-use transport infrastructure and therefore subject to government oversight regardless of its private ownership.
