Hiking 80 Miles Alone Above Yosemite Valley
A solo 7 day backpacking adventure through Yosemite National Park in California, starting at Yosemite falls north rim and encircling the entire valley. This is an ambient silent hiking film with ethereal music and no talking.

🗺️ About the route:
I created a 76 mile loop in Yosemite National park to connect all my favorite locations above the valley. The route hits Yosemite falls, Eagle peak, North dome, Mt Watkins, Tenaya lake, Cathedral lake, Clouds rest, Half dome (if you win a separate permit), Nevada falls, Panorama trail, the entire south rim and even tunnel view.
The route starts at Yosemite falls trailhead on the north rim and exits at Bridal Veil falls on the south rim. So many highlights packed into this trip, it's the most epic Yosemite route I could've come up with. Only thing that would've made it better is winning a half dome permit ;)
I also had a good amount of solitude. Lots of day hikers at the waterfalls, tenaya lake and glacier/taft point, but otherwise had plenty of space. Most of the time I wouldn’t see anyone camping nearby in the evening.
