More air defence to protect Ukraine against attacks like this one.
That was President Zelensky's goal at this year's NATO summit.
But did he achieve it?
Yes and no.
US President Donald Trump saying that he would grant Ukraine the licence to produce Patriot
interceptor missiles.
But he also fell short of promising Ukraine any from the United States' own supply.
But there were other wins for Ukraine.
Firstly, it changed the way Ukraine was viewed in the eyes of NATO leaders.
No longer just a recipient of aid, but a contributor to its collective defence.
Also not to mention a positive meeting with US President Donald Trump, where President
Zelensky aimed to put Ukraine's best foot forward to present itself as the winning team
that allies could bet on, riding the wave of its recent success with its long-range
drone strikes into Russia, which have crippled its oil industry.
But there is still the unavoidable reality that without immediate relief, without immediate
supply of vital air defence missiles, Ukraine remains susceptible to attacks like this one.
