Fans Gather at Attaboy for World Cup Watch Party

There's still so much soccer left to play and plenty of places across the DMV to tune in our Chad Ricardo out in Frederick for a watch party today. Let's check in with him as the games are happening. That's right, Marina, and the U.S. men's national team may be out of the World Cup. However, FIFA fever still abound here in the DMV. We're currently in Frederick, Maryland, at a wonderful establishment called Atta Boy. Want to introduce you right now to the owner, Carly. Carly, thank you so very much for having Carly. You sat your drink down. We we want that drink in hand. Carly, I look around this place. This is a beautiful spot. Talk to me about the history of Atta Boy. Yeah, so we opened in twenty seventeen. We've been here nine years, going on ten. And my husband is a brewer. I know we have a larger team, of course. Sure. I do all the things and sexy things. That's right. The marketing also. And yeah, we just started homebrewing and I immediately got fired from homebrewing. Sure. It's a lot of work and you can't drink while you brew. And yeah, I took a temperature wrong and I was like, I'm out. I'll drink the beer. That's right. So we just fell in love with beer and each other dating. And we ended up getting married and wanted to start Atta Boy. And that was the birth of it. You love when a good love story turns into a good business operation. I want to see if we can't roll some of the videos right now, because we know that FIFA Fever again has been rolling about through the entire DMV. Why is Atta Boy such a good place to watch World Cup? I'm a huge soccer fan. Grew up playing soccer. My three older brothers, we all play soccer. One still coaches professionally. And so it's just so cool that the games are here and on good times. You know, every other time you're watching them in the morning, the night, all this stuff. So we were like, let's make it our thing. Also, you get to watch TV at work. I love it. I love it. I tell you, we got about 30 seconds remaining. Let's come on over here, because what I hear is that you all have absolute wonderful beer that you are serving here. And what we have here, we've got three to try. Walk me through each one of these. So Guava No Guava is our New England IPA. It's our most popular drink. It kind of keeps the lights on, as we say. Yes. This is a cold fox. I like that beer. It's a hops like a what do we got? A cold IPA. So it's a lager, dry hops, pretty high in alcohol. Doesn't taste like it. And then we've got our backyard paradise, which is a Guava Lime Lager. Absolutely. Love it. Definitely a crusher. Which one should I try right now? I would say do the Guava Lime Lager.
