Hey, it's Julie. Welcome back to CutePolish. For today's first and easy cute nail design,
I'll be showing you how to do a really cute heart French manicure look. For this,
I'm going to be using a pink polish to create the French manicure, and if you have long nails,
it is super easy to do. You just follow the shape of your natural free edge. If you don't
have long nails, you can always use a detail brush and carefully line the edge of your nail,
and you can always use an angled brush to clean up that smile line for a perfect French.
Next, I'm going to use a small dotting tool in a pink shade of polish to create two dots side
by side, and then a detail brush to draw a line down the middle in two V shapes to create a really
simple heart. I did three hearts per nail, but you can always do more or less, and it's just a really
simple and cute nail design. For the next look, I'll be using a white polish, and I applied two
coats of this, letting it fully dry in between layers. Now, I'm going to take an assortment of
colorful polishes, and I'm going to create a really dainty polka dot design. Again, I'm using
a small dotting tool to do this, which makes this design super easy and beginner-friendly, and I'm
just going to alternate the colors. You can do as many colors or as little as you like, and it's
just so cute, and it's perfect for spring and summer. I personally love wavy nails, and I'm
always trying new combinations of colors for the wavy nails look, so I'm going to use this really
fun sort of lime green yellow polish. I did a fun wavy shape over half of my nail, but you can do it
as big on your nail or as small in any sort of fashion you'd like. I let that totally dry, and
then I'm going to use another green. This was more of a sea foam green, and I applied that just under
so a little bit of that yellow is showing. Finish with top coat, and you have a double layer wave
nail design. One of my favorite easy nail designs is a cloud pattern. They're really easy to do.
I'm going to use a pale blue for my background today, but you can pick any color you'd like.
Then I'm going to use a white polish and a liner brush to create two horizontal lines on my nails,
and then a larger dotting tool to add dots on top of that line, and you can stagger these in size
and height, and it gives you a really fun fluffy cloud. You can add as many to your nail or as
little as you'd like. This next design also only uses a dotting tool and detail brush. I started
with a base color. You can pick any color you'd like, and I let that totally dry. Now I'm going
to use the larger end of a dotting tool and a cherry red polish and create two dots side by side,
and then a random solo dot on my nail, but these are just going to be cherries. You can do pairs
of cherries or little single cherries. It's totally up to you, and then I'm going to use
my detail paintbrush and a darker green to create a line for a stem and then one small sort of
teardrop shape for a leaf, and that is it. You can obviously add more details like shine or even
polka dots to fill in the space, but I love the minimalism of this cute cherry pattern. For the
next design, I'll be using a purple polish, and I applied two coats of this until it was fully opaque,
and I let it fully dry. Next, I'm going to use a frosty shade of purple, pretty similar to the
base color I used, and I'm going to use the brush from this polish to create two connected ovals
for wings for what's going to be butterfly wings. Then I'm going to use a detail brush and white
polish and simply just outline those two ovals, and then you can add some details. I added a little
body, some antenna, some details to the wings, and I filled in some spaces, and I also added some dots.
You can make it as custom and as detailed as you want, but essentially this is how you make a really
cute butterfly nail design. I absolutely love larger floral patterns, and one of my favorite
tools to use to make the perfect round flower is a q-tip. I dip it into some polish, I create some
dots, and I love that these dots are a little bit larger and the edges are smoother, and then you can
fill in the centers with any color you like. I love combining different colors for simple nail designs,
so for this, I'm going to use a neon yellow green polish to create a french tip, and then on the moon
area of my nail, I'm going to use this really fun neon orange color. I just love how this is a classic
design with fun colors. It just really elevates the look, and to make it a little more abstract,
I'm also going to use a bright hot pink color and create a curve in between those two elements,
and I just think this is such a fun minimalistic but bright nail design, perfect for summertime.
Gradient nail designs are super cute, but kind of hard to do. This is a way I do them super quick
without having to use a sponge. I pick two colors that are sort of close together, so like pink and
purple, so when I combine them, they are seamless. I paint them in vertical sections on my nail, and
before they dry, I use each polish to blend over that seam, and I go back and forth. If it's not
perfect, that's when you can add a really fun sparkly topper polish, and it just blends those
colors together and totally looks seamless. I am using this polish that has some iridescence and
sparkle, and when I apply it, it just looks absolutely magical. This would be the perfect
base for a butterfly or fairy nail design, or you can just wear it alone like this.
And for the last design, I'll show you how to elevate a simple French manicure. I'm using a
white polish and just creating a classic French. Now I'm going to use a pink polish and dotting
tool to create two sets of dots that are stacked on top of each other, and then I'm going to connect
them into sideways heart shapes. In the center, I'll add a dot and then two lines below, and this
is the base for a bow. I added two V shapes where the folds of the bow are with a darker pink, but
you could totally leave it just like that, and I think this is just such a cute and adorable nail
design. Totally customizable and just really adds a cute element to a classic French manicure. There
