
Euclid Just Dropped the Largest Image Ever of Our Galaxy's Core

At the very centre of our galaxy lies a region so crowded, and so blindingly bright, that most telescopes are simply overwhelmed by it. Yet in just over a single day, ESA's Euclid spacecraft captured it in extraordinary detail: more than 60 million stars in one enormous photograph, the largest and most detailed image ever taken of the Milky Way's heart in visible light.
