Mommy Rain's 44th Birthday

Today is my 44th birthday and for the next 24 hours my kids are in charge of the entire day. Each of them gets to choose two activities they like and if they work for me, go ahead and do it. I'm doing this because I wanted this birthday to be just as fun for my kids as it is for me. And after all the activities, I'll be celebrating my birthday with an amazing beach getaway right in the middle of the sea. Now let's start with each of the kids requests. First is Ariana's. She's referring to my favorite Jamaican cherry tree, the one we always show in our videos. Okay, we will do that. Second activity for Ariana is indoor playground. This erratolous tree was in the parking lot of her mom. We often come here just because of the tree. Saw one right away. I found one. That's mine! That's the one I found. Mommy, I can't get the erratolous because I'm the smallest in the house. Ariana doesn't seem to be enjoying this. Time to put my mom's skill to the test and solve Ariana's problem. Of course we have a ladder. Who doesn't? I need the high transplant. They're all orange today. It's the weather we're red. These are called indian cherries. Okay. Is that true? Yeah. You googled it? Then how did you know? Ariana, get it, get it. Oh, so many. Look how much we got just from one tree. Anybody can share online. Oh, you're so nice. Are you happy with our harvest? Yeah. Where's next? Kid's city. Yeah. Second activity for Ariana, indoor playground. You wouldn't believe this but I actually enjoy playing with them. Not just being stuck with babysitting duties. Activities were so much fun. Even I enjoyed them. Second up is Travis. Let's see what he's got. You mean RK? Okay. This is one of our favorite places to bike. After biking, we always eat takoyaki here. Now, let's eat. Oh my god. Whoa Do you guys know I used to fish there? And I used to get oysters from those rocks. And I eat it raw. On to Travis's second activity, the arcade. With all those points, that is to get the higher score. Oh Travis is all done. He was so happy. Now, it's Rachel's turn. I think we should go get our hair done. Am I going to enjoy that or you will enjoy that? On my 43rd birthday. That's also your request. Let's play basketball. Now, it's my turn. Where do you want to go with me? We have one question. Are there snacks? If yes, we're in. Okay Of course, we're going to celebrate with me too. These guys are picky eaters. Get it, get it. This one's a picky eater. Dog cupcake for you. It's for the doggy dog. This is for you, my love. That's for the dog. Second to the last is Casey. What if we like did a cover together? That would be cool, that would be cool. And then you know how you mentioned you loved playing with ducks so much as a child. What if we adopted a mama duck and like a bunch of chicklings? They'd be so cute. She's like, right, right, right. For your birthday, relive your childhood, right? Mom loves playing with ducks. Okay, guys, it's finally my turn. We only have a little bit of time and I couldn't find any ducks. So instead I found these. Hey, and they're better because they're cute and mom can have them forever. Oh my gosh. Living ducks are another responsibility. I'm taking three of them. Look how funny this duck is. Guys, I have so many ducks. I love their long necks. Let's buy all of them. Come on. So the next day we gave each of them a necklace. These ducks belong to these people right here. And these are mine. Rose and duck. Rose duck. So here's our cover. My favorite song. Okay. And finally, my husband's turn. We traveled all the way to Colatagan Batangas because it has a lot of nice beaches and is only about two hours away from Manila. And we were greeted with a beautiful villa overlooking the sea. This beautiful beach resort became our getaway for five days. Look, they even have a bar. I said bar. Why are you guys going upstairs? We don't care about the bar. We're kids. Okay, go up. Go to the third floor. This cozy room opens up to an incredible view of the beach just outside our window. It was a beautiful clear blue water that made everything feel so relaxing. And the best part was our cottage right in the middle of the sea. Eating seafood straight from the ocean made this trip feel like a real adventure. But what I loved most was sharing the experience with my kids and my whole family. That's a big one.
