Very well, thank you.
2026, thank you all so much for being with us.
And a huge, special thank you to our composer and multi-instrumentalist,
Tende Humphreys-Linner, and his fabulous musicians,
Ona Wookaboo and James Taylor.
Can we give them another round of applause?
Hello.
Thank you so much for having me.
It's so wonderful to be here today.
I'm going to read you a poem by one of my favourite poets,
Mary Oliver, for summer day.
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild, precious book?
It felt so precious and like such a miracle.
And whenever I read Mary Oliver's poems,
it takes me back to being a child who is...
To video.
Join us.
As the kids would say, Benedict,
hashtag what he said.
All of the above.
Yes.
Well, I'm looking forward to chatting more about the film,
but I'd like to welcome our final panellist to the stage,
the visionary behind welcoming His Royal Highness,
the Prince of Wales.
Thank you very much.
Thank you for joining us, Your Royal Highness.
And thank you both to you, Emma and Benedict.
Emma, I'd love to start with you first, if I may.
Can you tell us when, how, and a story,
which is slightly at my own expense.
It was very early on when I just got cast in the Harry Potter films
and my mother lived...
Birders.
We love birders.
Birders are great.
Well, it's similar to what we saw with Bertie's film,
that actually when we do the right thing,
we can bring nature to what she's supposed to be.
She's beings, but anything is possible.
And I've seen that.
Sure.
Well, I'm not an environmental scientist.
I'm not a professor or a documentarian,
but I am a human being on planet Earth.
And I think the world of what Open Planet do as a studio,
they've brought us some of the most extraordinary,
inspiring, beautiful and devastating images
in wildlife documentary making.
And when they approached me to front this very unusual
and different strain of documentary, I jumped.
They were so... I can't...
My documentary was cut for Benedict's, so...
LAUGHTER
This is a new day today.
It's a very good documentary.
Well, his is launching tonight.
Yeah, I do have a premiere tonight.
His is much better than mine.
The systems, it's very hard for them to pull the levers
to make the whole part of their business
connect in a state where we would like them to,
to have that transformational impact.
That's been a really, you know,
a two-way process where we've...
So, can you tell me where the overlap is in terms of...
Yeah, the wildlife trade is sort of the exploitative tip
of the iceberg, in a way.
It's sort of the canary in the coal mine.
But, yeah, it's a place where we can have huge, huge,
huge impact to their boards,
inspired by everything that they will learn today.
What is the one argument they should be making?
Oh, June, that's a tricky one.
There's several arguments that you should be making,
but I think one particular argument is about
what I was just touching on, which is the idea
this is going to make your business stronger, better,
more sustainable, more long-term health.
You know, we've talked about the competition
amongst the sector, but actually that collaboration
has been hugely impressive,
and being able to depend on each other,
support each other, find the gaps and the areas
that you can partner on for the greater good,
if you like, and for the health of your business
is ultimately the most important thing you can do.
I know many of you, as CEOs, you do feel you have
people you have to answer to above,
you have people you have to deal with below.
Be an emperor penguin.
Be the emperor penguin.
We can be the emperor penguin.
Agency, in a time where the problems
and the obstacles seem absolutely insurmountable.
His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, thank you.
