The FULL Love Story of Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin!

Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are one of those couples that were just always meant to be. It's almost like they were destined to be together and are each other's soulmate. The first time they met was in 2011, when Ye Jin had a cameo in the show Secret Garden, where Hyun Bin had one of the main roles. The cameo was a really small one, and it's oftentimes forgotten, especially since their characters didn't have any interaction on the screen. The first time they properly worked together was in 2017, when they were casted in the action thriller movie The Negotiation. In that movie, Ye Jin played the role of Ha Tae Yoon, a crisis negotiator inspector, and Hyun Bin played the role of Min Tae Go, a kidnapper. In August of 2018, their fans were surprised by Ye Jin and Hyun Bin doing a photoshoot for Vogue Korea. Although Ye Jin and Hyun Bin only filmed one scene together for The Negotiation, it was enough for a strong friendship bond to form between them. After the movie had its premiere, Hyun Bin started to appear on Ye Jin's Instagram more often, which sparked The Inevitable, the first ever dating rumors. Some of Ye Jin's Instagram posts featured her and Hyun Bin trying on cutesy couple filters, which led to some of their fans getting suspicious about their friendship. They also celebrated Hyun Bin's birthday while they were actively promoting The Negotiation. The dating rumors came back in January of 2019, when Hyun Bin was allegedly seen with Ye Jin and her parents at a restaurant in Los Angeles. At that time, both of the agencies denied the rumors, stating that Ye Jin was on vacation by herself, and that her parents were in Korea, and that Hyun Bin went overseas for personal business, and he was not with Ye Jin. In the behind-the-scenes clips of the show, fans could see the two constantly smiling at each other, playfully messing with each other, and bickering as if they were a true couple. Both on-screen and off-screen, the two behaved in a way as if they were meant to be together. After Crash Landing on You aired, the two frequently displayed love and appreciation for one another during the behind-the-scenes clips and press interviews. It seemed like they knew each other incredibly well, because Ye Jin had no problem answering for Hyun Bin several times, and Hyun Bin was always seen looking out for Ye Jin. Every year, Dispatch has a tradition of exposing a couple who has been dating in secret. In 2020, it was announced that the new star couple for 2021 would be the couple everyone was secretly hoping for, Hyun Bin and Ye Jin. According to Dispatch, Hyun Bin and Ye Jin had been dating for about eight months at the time when their relationship was revealed, even though they were in countless dating rumors together. In January of 2020, there was a brief rumor that the couple allegedly was getting married in the near future, but we now know that it was just a baseless rumor. As for their evidence, Dispatch released pictures of the couple working out together and then visiting a golf center as well. Reportedly, the couple also often played golf together at a course in Gangwon Province, basically whenever they had the opportunity to do so. Dispatch attached some pictures of Ye Jin beside Hyun Bin's car following one of their golfing sessions. Several of the couple's close friends also commented on their relationship. One of the acquaintances commented, It wasn't easy for Son Ye Jin to change her relationship with Hyun Bin, but the busier they became, they became more affectionate towards each other. Another one stated, I think Hyun Bin had developed feelings after the drama finished, and when they had to separate, he developed a feeling of longing for her. Their eagle-eyed fans noticed that the picture Hyun Bin uploaded of them holding hands featured Ye Jin wearing the same dress that she did during Crash Landing on You. Many people thought that this was a wonderful reference to the beginning of their love. Ye Jin also shared a statement on her Instagram and wrote her thoughts out in Korean and English. She said, Boy meets girl, recognizes each other in the crowd, promises to build a future together, I couldn't imagine. It happened so naturally, but isn't that destiny? Not everyone might know that Ye Jin perhaps teased her engagement a few days before it was officially announced. Some of Ye Jin's fans noticed that she started to follow an account who went by the username at youngsnapofficial on Instagram, and it wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary if the account didn't belong to a certified wedding photographer whose account was full of magical wedding pictures. Very soon after fans noticed, Ye Jin quickly unfollowed the account, and those who noticed wondered if Ye Jin was just trying to get inspiration for her wedding in the future or if the wedding was already in the works. Hyun Bin and Ye Jin's big day happened on March 31st of 2022, and it's safe to say that this was one of the most anticipated weddings in Korean entertainment history. Their wedding happened at the Aston House belonging to the Grand Walker Hill Hotel. Just by the pictures, it seemed like a gorgeous location for a wedding. The Aston House is a separate residence that overlooks the Han River, and the biggest plus about it is that it isn't easily accessible to guests, so Hyun Bin and Ye Jin enjoyed much needed privacy during their wedding. In the wedding pictures that were released, the couple looked straight out of a fairy tale, and Ye Jin looked like a real princess. The congratulatory song for their ceremony was chosen to be Give You My Heart, which is part of the soundtrack for Crash Landing on You, once again paying a beautiful homage to the time when it all started. Hyun Bin and Ye Jin's wedding was one that many dream of, and they seriously went all in on their special day. The rent of location cost them around $12,000, while the floral decorations were almost double the price of the location. It's estimated that Ye Jin paid around $20,000 for the flowers. The couple also didn't hesitate to spend a couple thousand dollars on a security team to ensure that they and their guests were safe and their privacy was protected. This was kind of needed given that their guest list was full of Korea's biggest stars, such as Girls' Generation's Yoona, Gong Yoo, Jung Hae In, and many others. For their honeymoon, it's alleged that the two went to the States, which is where one of their dating rumors started after they were seen at the convenience store together. In June of 2022, another huge news regarding the couple came out and sent the whole internet into a meltdown. Through her Instagram, Ye Jin announced that she was expecting a baby. This news came almost a month after her agency denied the reports of the actress being pregnant. Ye Jin wrote in the caption, "'I'd like to carefully share some very happy news with everyone. We are expecting a new life in our family. We will protect the precious life that has come to us. I hope you all stay healthy, keeping the things you hold precious in your life close to you." It was reported that their baby would be born sometime in December, but their baby boy was born on November 27th of 2022. Hearing this joyful news, some fans remembered something Hyun Bin said around 10 years ago when he appeared in a Korean reality show where he visited Hawaii. During one of the episodes, the actor entered a footlocker and spotted some baby shoes. Not only did he say that he's bought some baby shoes to collect them, but he also added that once he has a son, he's going to have him wear adorable shoes.
