Comparison 2026 Toyota Camry SE vs XSE

Let's dive in. I wish you guys this time in this comparison between two trims of the four with regards to the 2026 Toyota Camrys. Now to my right I have the cheaper or the lower sport trim in the sport Camry lineup being the SE trim versus the higher class one being the XSE and these are the two trims in the four trim lineups that pertains to sport on the Camrys. Now price tag on the SE coming in at $31,300 price tag and then we got the XSE price tag coming in at suggested MSRP price of $35,200 okay so it's roughly about a $4,000 suggested MSRP price all right from SE to XSE. Now let's dive in and show you guys what's different starting with the SE front end. Let's start with the headlight system. Headlight system is a big difference and why do I say that because you have one LED projector headlight the design on your daytime running light is going to be halogen bulb and a complete different design so let me go ahead and show you what I mean. Here you have the dual level LED projection as well as look at that okay beautiful LED hazards not halogens and they actually wrap around the angle of that bumper beautiful look on the headlight system. Then we come over to the bumper fascias okay starting with the lip splitters down here the SE comes matte black plastic versus the painted lip splitter which looks a bit more luxurious and I don't want this to fool you guys but these are add-on LED bezel lighting so don't let that fool you but you will have a high gloss black bezel versus a matte black plastic bezel if you don't have that light okay. Then we come over to the lower grills matte black plastic on the SE with the upper grill in the matte black plastic on the SE versus a painted exterior lower grill paint color as well as the top will be high gloss black on that upper grill okay so a whole lot richer look on the XSE. Coming over to the side you now have differences on your rubbers and your rims you have continental pro contact you're getting a 235 45 18 versus a 19 on the XSE and this is just one color high gloss black okay. Coming over here we got a Bridgestone Taranza so completely different brand EL 440 and the size of this exact one is 235 40 19 so you're running a thinner rubber you have kind of a gunmetal gray surface on this exact 19 inch rim with the high gloss black okay so way better looking on the rim but I have to say being a thinner rubber you're going to have more of a stiffer ride on the XSE being a bigger rubber you're going to have a slightly more comfortable on the SE. Then we come over to the side mirrors as you guys can tell the difference in colors the XSE does black out the side mirrors okay. Then we come over to the A-pillar with the top I don't want to fool you guys these are add-on options all right the high metallic gloss black paint with the panoramic glass on the XSE that is the option this is what it's going to look like if you don't get that option okay keep that in mind that's just a extra add-on on top of that suggested on this RP price. Everything else is pretty much the same in regards to keyless fob entry the protruding rocker panels the sport rocker panels then we come over to the rear end a few differences here in the rear end okay differences high gloss black lip on the XSE versus the exterior paint color on the SE all right then we come over to the taillights taillights on the SE are kind of like the front where you're getting just led taillight but the halogen hazard and the backup light is going to be halogen bulbs okay keep that in mind versus full led system here on the XSE okay so you get led on the taillights led on the hazards and led on the backup lights okay you also get different color on the high gloss black trim here on this trim here versus the painted trim okay on the exterior paint of the car dropping down again the rear diffusers are going to be matte black plastic versus the exterior paint color it's pretty funny how they kind of change the colors up here and here but then again when you're dropping down they don't paint the diffuser on the SE versus paint on the XSE okay that's pretty much in regards to the exterior now cargo i'm going to open up one cargo same exact thing on the cargo i just want to show you guys 15 cubic feet of space you can pull these levers here and here to drop that backrest of that seat you also get spare tires in both so shout out to Toyota for keeping their spare tires and that's going to be under the foam all right pretty cool you also got an emergency latch god forbid somebody gets stuck but you pull that latch and an led brake light but here okay pretty much it in regards to the differences from SE to XSE on the exterior let's show you differences on the interior now sitting in the SE this is the cheaper sport version in the Camry so starting with the passenger seat you get manual controlled no electric control the XSE will have electric controls here then we get a complete different seating surface all right the XSE will have perforation with light blue holes and design on the leather of the XSE is going to be completely different okay to where here you get cloth and you get that Toyota tech stuff all right now over to the dashboard cloth insert versus leather insert on the XSE everything else exactly the same then we come over to the infotainment screen in the SE you get the cheaper small version screen which is the eight inch screen to whereas on the XSE you're getting 12.3 inch screen okay you still get standard apple carplay android auto bluetooth but again the the big screen is completely different dropping down you don't have heated seats and those heated seat buttons are going to be placed both right here as well as no heated steering wheel button and you'll see that right here okay dropping further lower everything here is standard on all trims usbcs usba wireless charging pad shift lever three different drive modes auto hold button ev mode and a parking brake what's different is just the trim okay in the XSE you're going to have a high gloss piano black trim going around all of this stuff you also get a 12 volt outlet in both okay up top uh this is not pertaining to the trim but i just want to show you guys what it looks like when you don't have the panoramic glass right keep that in mind now dropping over to the steering wheel area both steering wheels do come leather wrapped but again the steering wheel is not heated in this SE okay everything else is exactly the same in regards to the steering wheel the regen paddles and the levers here big difference on that front cluster screen you get the seven inch screen versus a 12.3 inch full digital screen inside the XSE huge difference that's a make it or break it for people okay then we come over to the door panel door panel is going to be cloth insert again versus the leather perforated inserts that you get on the XSE everything else exactly the same now let's jump over to the second row seating second row in the SE you still get that same difference on the seating surfaces and one minor difference is this reading light will be placed back here instead of up here and the reading light is that soft yellow in the SE to where on the XSE you're going to have the led bright white okay everything else the same pockets air vents USB-C and a USB-A plug-in now let's jump inside the more expensive version XSE now the XSE guys starting with the passenger seating surface I mean seating area you have electric control remember versus the manual lever control here okay big difference then you have the leather wrapped seats and you can smell the leather inside this vehicle perforation and the perforation is light blue if you guys can see that as well as the design that they actually instill into the leather all right then we come over to the dashboard cloth versus the leather big difference here next one is the 12.3 inch screen look how beautiful that looks guys again for that four thousand dollar price tag add-on I have to say this is probably one of the biggest make it or break it you get the heated seats here okay as well as the heated steering wheel button you can actually do an auto and then turn it off all right dropping down remember everything else everything else is standard here other than this high gloss black panel trim that is different then we come over to the cluster this is another make it or break it for people this big 12.3 inch full digital cluster again makes you feel like you actually have a car that's with the times okay and you mess around with your info cards there in the center too all right big difference then we come over to the door panel leather versus the cloth inserts and this is perforation with that light blue inside too as well very cool all right we come over to the top glass this is what it looks like all right if you didn't have the top glass it's going to look like the se in this video but again this is an add-on this doesn't pertain to trims now let's show you second row real quick now the second row everybody as you guys can see the difference in the leather wrap back here way more rich feel and i have to say this reading light see this reading light it has the true white light now if you didn't have this glass here okay let's say you didn't get this option this light is going to be about right here okay so either way no glass or glass that reading light is coming from the center back here okay keep that in mind in the xsc everything else is the same in regards to the interior now here's the msrp sticker first the cheaper version the se
