Interior designer and antiques dealer Meg Braff shares her favorite room in the world — the 30-foot living room and adjoining library inside her completely reimagined home in Locust Valley, Long Island. The living room features three intimate seating areas anchored by a magnificent lacquered Coromandel coffee table, a rare Bostwick estate screen by Mario Buatta, a pair of metal palm trees identical to those in Valentino's Italian home, beloved Roger Muhl paintings collected over years, gilt wood bamboo chairs, a vintage D'Angelo sofa, and a 27-foot Indian jute rug. The original library — the only room kept from the 1960s house — glows in velvet swivel chairs, a Mastercraft brass coffee table, and a Roger Muhl French landscape above the mantel.
