Experience Basel during a special summer weekend as the city hosts the **Eidgenössisches Jodlerfest 2026**, one of Switzerland’s biggest celebrations of yodeling and traditional culture.
For three days, Basel celebrated Swiss tradition under the motto "Stadt und Land mitenand" (City and Country Together).
More than 12,000 participants took part in yodelling, alphorn blowing and flag waving across 1,000+ performances, including the yodelling village, old town events and a colourful parade with 60 formations and around 1,500 participants. Around 200,000 visitors attended the event.
