Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal returned to training at Gardens District Park in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, as they continued preparations for their 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 clash with Croatia in Toronto.

Ronaldo, Bernardo Silva and Roberto Martinez were all involved in the session as Portugal prepared for Thursday’s knockout tie against the 2022 World Cup semi-finalists.

Bernardo Silva also spoke before training about his upcoming move to Real Madrid after the World Cup and addressed criticism of Roberto Martinez’s decisions during the tournament. Bernardo started Portugal’s opener against DR Congo, came off the bench against Uzbekistan and was an unused substitute in the goalless draw with Colombia.
