These Girls Look like They're Going to Pop

Hi it's Carrie from Workney Farms. So today is June 28th and as you can see the skies are super gray. We had a thunderstorm last night. You can see this goat behind me here. It's been 145 days since we picked them up and she's getting quite the udders. So we're gonna be on baby watch now for these guys which I've been saying they're bred and we don't know when they're gonna have babies because we put them in with the buck right away and we just left them together for a while. So I don't know I'm gonna turn the camera around and we're gonna take a look and see if we can see anything on them because they don't like when I look at their back and like the other goats don't. This is Miss Chauffeur or Pixie and she looks a little sunken down in the sides and she was laying all by herself this morning. But I feel like she's not gonna let us see that beautiful udder that's developing. Are you gonna turn around let me see the udder? Or should we just look at Trixie? I thought that you'd be the first one to go but I don't know. Trixie over here whose name was Soggy. She was in the building all by herself and Chauffeur was over by this building by herself. Now they're all over here because they want me to let them out for the day. Um she was standing in a nice position to be able to look at her and then she walked away. Come on. I want to see you back down but I feel like if I walk this way you're gonna walk this way. She's so pretty. Get off the fence. Fireflies babies. Okay this is supposed to be about you. When are you having babies? When are you gonna have babies? I love your beard. Anyways you can really tell that she's poofy in the back end and she's coming at a bit of gait. I don't think, I think it's gonna be closer to now than it is months down the road. Joy I can't see you either. You're holding your tail up and your vulva is bouncing back and forth. I really would like to see that udder. Yeah you don't look too interested in eating which makes me really wonder. Should we go in and have a look at you? See if you're gonna drop the babies. I threw them a little bit of treats and they both just kind of went in there. Oh you're so poofed out in the back. I don't know. I was hoping this video would be a little bit better but it's, they're just like don't look at us. Don't let us. Don't look at our back ends. Yeah I'm going to get hay. Then we'll really know if you guys are gonna have babies. But you Missy. Trixie, her vulva is hanging a bit open. So oh I feel like she doesn't got long to go. Both of their udders last night were looking super fuller than they have been. So but they all, both of these girls, I really, I'm just, I'm disappointed that they're, the person I bought them off of said that she could probably get their, they did come from registered lines and she could probably find, get the information from the breeder. She didn't get the registrations because she didn't care about registrations but she said she could get the paperwork from the breeder for me and then I guess she couldn't get ahold of the breeder. So and obviously these girls are three years old now so like I feel like I should go back to my video of the day we brought them home and see which one. I remember one of them, the buck was all over the day we brought them. Hence the reason that I'm watching really closely now. But I don't remember which one it was because it wasn't my highest priority at the time to be like hey. I knew, I knew that they were going to be, when they when they kitted, they'd be kitting in warmer weather so we wouldn't have the scary details we had with all the other goats and so I was like whatever. You guys are going to kid when you're going to kid. Yeah like look at this udder. It's bigger than my girl's udders right now and it's not like full full but it's definitely harder than it was. So I'm kind of, I am feeling like she has a little ways to go. That's what I've been feeling all the way and I felt like she was way closer and she does. She looks super uncomfortable today. So my eyes are going to be on you mrs um sulfur ish pixie. Look you're shaking. All right we'll check back in with you later okay. You're chewing your cud right now which means you're definitely not in active labor for sure. So enjoy your day. Could be any time now or it could be a month from now.
