Highlights | Egypt 1-1 IR Iran | FIFA World Cup 2026™

This is the first competitive meeting of these nations. Rabia, that's a smart chance, this is Mo Salah and his shot was blocked down by Namate but followed up and scored. Simon Martiniak points to the penalty spot. Ichmedi, Terebe and it's saved. Mohamed, is there enough room to turn? Razielian, Rabien Razielian. Snapshot from Trezeguet, here's Salah looking for Trezeguet. Zizou, nobody marking, Azea, dangerous again. Here's the in-swing, oh what a save. Here comes the delivery, too close to the keeper but he's fumbled it. Still around, maybe Razielian, oh denied again, what a block. The final whistle blows, two teams that gave it everything here. What a game, what drama in Seattle. Egypt won, Iran won.
