Spring

Spring is a beautiful animated short film that tells the story of a young shepherdess and her faithful dog as they confront ancient spirits to keep the cycle of life moving forward. Written and directed by Andy Goralczyk, this poetic film features breathtaking visuals inspired by his childhood in the mountains of Germany.

The Spring production team used a development version of Blender 2.80 throughout the entire filmmaking process, even before the software reached its official Beta release. As with all Blender Open Movies, the complete production pipeline and all source files have been made available through the Blender Cloud production platform.
