By placing balls at four different positions around a hole, the user uses the app to determine the exact break in inches, helping to calibrate their eyes and internalize how different slopes affect the ball's path during practice or warm-ups.
This is one of my favorite ways to use Touride Powered by Odyssey
to help us train ourselves to make more putts in the golf course.
I've got four tees set up here, six feet around the hole
at 90 degrees from each other. I've got a ball each one
and I'm just gonna, I'm gonna set the app to six feet.
I'm gonna place it, give it a quick tap. This putt is gonna break
five inches. So I'm gonna aim this putt five inches
from the center of the hole. Go ahead, hit my putt. It's just going to help us
to really dial in the amount of slope we're facing
and how much that slope is going to affect the putt. Okay so now I'm going to
go to the next station here. I'm going to put the app down two-thirds
away to the hole. It's going to give me a read.
This is very very straight. So this is going to be
0.7 inches of break. So boy that's not very much.
I'm going to take a quick look at that. That way I can start to internalize
what that, what that looks like. This is a great way to practice.
It's also a great thing to add into our warm-ups.
Just going to help us get used to the greens that day. Start to get our eyes
calibrated. You know and it'll be a great way to get
our day started.
